However, anyone who thinks Scholes should be ahead of Gerrard is kidding themselves. Being a better player is not about how many trophies you've won in a team, it's about how individually good you were. Scholes was nominated for PFA team of theyear 2 times. Gerrard 8 times. If Gerrard moved elsewhere, he would have won several league titles by now, for sure.

Perhaps if Lampard hadn't wasted so much of his early career at the pikeys, he would have cracked it for more than his five
