2014 Jerseys, Logos & Sponsorship Thread

Yeah - Sharks Tigers Eels and Warriors were all shown at the trophy launch mid-Dec weren't they?

Most other clubs will probably just wear their training jerseys probably.

Its how these jerseys should be.

A main jersey that never changers (think roosters,rabbits, dragons) and then special jerseys based around the elements of the clubs image.

Being recognisable is the most important thing though.

On a side note....

Id love to see the Storm just forget the lightning bolts and weird designs, and just go with a purple jersey (think Blues, Maroons, Raiders, Steelers).

Just imagine this without the sponsors box (preferably they would integrate it) and the lightning box. A solid purple jersey would look amazing.

I'd be happey if they just got rid of the sponsor box.

On the plus side, we know longer have Crown as front of jersey sponsor.

On another tack, have any other clubs confirmed Nines jerseys yet?

So far I think only the Sharks, Tigers & Warriors have put out special jerseys for the Nines - does anyone know if other clubs are doing this?

I think it's a great chance for clubs to do something a little different with their colours in a fully-badged & sponsored jersey.

Hasn't been confirmed in any capacity, but I reckon that Penrith may wear the alternate... kind of has Nines written all over it, if you know what I mean...

The Storm training jersey was 1000% better without being brilliant.

The home and the pink versions are actually good - but the alternative was a missed opportunity

They need a heritage jersey - this would be perfect (sponsors and team badge to be updated)

I don't think so. An advantage of having a storm as your so-called 'mascot' is that you can incorporate bad-ass lightning bolts into your jersey. I don't think the lightning bolts look too bad at all, the storm just need to find a clever, subtle way of incorporating them.

Each to his own. I love the alternate jersey. As do many people i know. Picked it up along with the 2014 home jersey and think it looks slightly nicer IMO. I like having this and the pink jersey in our rotation. They really set us apart from other teams. Not just a generic white version that looks like half the other teams away strips from a distance.

I've no idea - Brown done well can look really cool - especially as a heritage item

Those look pretty cool and all incorporate brown in quite a stylish way
OK in the 2013 version the corporate sponsor banner is too large, but at least the colour is brown.

The coolest is 1955 below - the long sleeves look really cool in a different colour.

Best alternative for the Panthers I have seen bar none

Thinking about it - you could do the reverse of Gaz's strip - brown V with main white body as your alternative. Win win imo.
