Been putting some origin stuff together for about 6-8 months. Came up with this:

Origin1.jpg

Got a full write-up on my site.

Brilliant stuff. Simplicity at it's best.

Was just wondering, what template do you use for them? Been wanting to do a bit of rebranding myself but can't seem to find a decent template

Appears this will be this season's heritage jersey according to Lovell Rugby in the UK - Titans Heritage 2014

http://www.lovell-rugby.co.uk/search/titans-heritage

It's a winner

If I were boss of the Titans, that would be the permanent home jersey.

It's all class that thing IMO, great stuff.

I don't mind their other 2014 jerseys though, probably their best 'set' since coming back into the comp. Though horizontal stripes might make Tracy Chapman look even more rotund.....

My only qualm with the Gold Coast heritage jersey is the comparative sizes of the NRL logo and Titans logo. They should both be the same size (or as close as possible). In my opinion, they should both be the larger size.

GC have really turned it up this year with the jerseys.

Who has the final say to which jersey design gets the nod, the club, the NRL or the does the manufacturer have certain sway? With a change of manufacturer these are the best jerseys the Titans have ever had

NRL shirts sell in the UK for 55 quid

That's $102 according to xe.com

A brand new NRL shirt - from the UK and it's cheaper than most fans can buy for here. OK, so Titans members can buy for the same price.

The other teams jerseys range from 60 quid ($111) to 77 quid ($145)

Whatever way you cut it, it seems all NRL jerseys are cheaper to buy in the UK than they are here :?

I've purchased two from the UK, one from Lovells and one Downunder Leisure, postage is reasonable and quick (within 7 days) and not being in the UK you avoid the VAT (GST)

Do they charge VAT if you have them delivered to UK addresses even if you're paying from Oz?

Was going to have stuff sent to my mums and get her to post them on to me - that way she pays the postage :p but if it's reasonable I'll just get em sent straight to Oz.

I think we're entering a real good era for jersey design in the NRL.

Some of the annoying trends from the last 15 years (gradients, watermarks, busy designs etc) are disappearing from the main jerseys and being replaced by simpler, cleaner designs.

The crazy stuff is increasingly being relegated to training jerseys and alternates that may only be worn twice a year.

What are the uk sites to get nrl jerseys? These are oofficially licensed right?
lovells and rugbystore.co.uk are just a couple ive bought quite a few jerseys from uk,no aussie ones though ive got wigan, widnes, london irish and barbarians jerseys but to put thing into perspective once youvé converted the purchase price then converted postage price there are credit card transaction fees for international purchases but they're still cheaper but sometimes not by much and you also dont get the range over there that you get here.but its good if you want to add something a bit different to your collection last season you could get st helens home&away jerseys for 10 pounds each wich is definatley a bargain!

Also we don't have to pay VAT on our purchases being Australians do we? Making it even cheaper!

I bought a London Irish jersey from lovell the other day, 20 pounds! Not that I'm particularly rapt with Union but it qualified for my "wear obscure jerseys merkin" rule

Nice work. Could you make the nsw Jersey a lighter shade of blue?

Made it myself, I'd prefer to keep it for my own use but there is a decent photoshop template here:

The navy bits and side panels absolutely kill it. Reebok did the best job with it a few years back.

Always forget that the UK is a viable option, they don't always have everything though.

Good. That gimmicky kind of stuff will sell just as well, keep it out of the regular season.

Is that for Inglis?

I would leave a blank void around Bowraville.

Better picture of Manly Heritage 2014:

Watching a 1995 match on fox and manly are playing in a reverse (white topped) version of this but it doesn't hav the dodgy sleeve set up. Home jersey Would of looked great with two sleeves after seeing the alt

Whether you like the non-matching sleeves or not, fact is they nailed it with this design.

Clubs are finally starting to get it - we want to see a modern take on an old favourite.. but please don't stuff up the details!

On another tack, have any other clubs confirmed Nines jerseys yet?

So far I think only the Sharks, Tigers & Warriors have put out special jerseys for the Nines - does anyone know if other clubs are doing this?

I think it's a great chance for clubs to do something a little different with their colours in a fully-badged & sponsored jersey.

Parra have a 9s jersey as well, I'll post it later this afternoon for you when I'm not on the mobile.
