Im leaving 8th spot as a lottery. Hopefully its parra.I think Manly and Melbourne will slowly decline that's why I left out of top 4(plus anyone can pick the same 4 as last year) .The bulldogs id want too see first but I wonder where they get there strike power from. You assume Des is smart enough to have them winning games. And its very quiet at belmore, just how they like it???? I predict 1-2 jnr stars to come thru.

Knights are too old and lost Mullen for 4 mths.Sharks did well to hold it together last year. This year wont be the same so I leave them both out of September footy.

I bunch the rest together

Broncos,Parra,Saints,Tigers,Canberra and Titans. Id be surprised if any of these teams make the finals.Thou parra IMO are best placed because of there unpredictability. And also we have Hayne. Our hopes depend on luck
and confidence.

The Roosters for me will be stronger and will go back to back. You can also take any one player out of there team and it does weaken them but doesn't end there hopes.Unlike cowboys,Melbourne, souths.Who don't make 8 if loose there strike player-smith,thurston,inglis.

Penrith and warriors will surprise most I think. And the cowboys will also be tough since adding a hooker to there team. These three teams are my roughies to take title mainly cause a bit of unknown and potential.

Manly have a lot of players contracts ending. Could be distracting especialy as the stewart brothers wont be kept IMO. Well atleast Glenn and Watmough will go too UK for a final pay day.If they keep it together are another chance for the boys to say lets do it one more time together.Than BOOM -Manly self distruct along with Melbourne.

That just leaves souths who will be strong but not good enough to win it.They should finish top 4 thou. And choke in finals again. That goes without saying.

Im tipping the titans for the spoon.Just feel cartwright will get his marching orders and things wont pan out how they like this year.People will be wiser against Kelly and seizer, and there forwards are getting older. There backs are average and I don't like there sqaud.I guess dpends on Bird-Myles-Taylor-Harrison.Bailey.

But there is my detailed top 8, well 7

16. Saints

I don't rate Penrtih at all, unlike alot around here. Yes they've recruited some ok players, but in the main, they are just "ok players", certainly not "stars" (the injured Idris may be the exception). Looking at the forwards and backs, I think we match up fairly evenly to be honest.

A finish between 10 and 12 or for us methinks, any higher and Arthur has done a fantastic job.

5th - 16th

Luck is a massive factor and that goes for all teams. Bad (or good) luck early in a season has a flow on effect as well.

Pick your top 8 people .......And also I want a red line thru two teams as I did with sharks and knights. No fence sitting

If I am being blunt, all I want is to see a team that fights until the end. I wouldn't mind finishing last again if the team fights until the final whistle. I don't want to see a repeat of 2013 where we got lapped by 30 or more points on way too many occasions...

Teams that should be guaranteed in the top 8, if not top 4:

1. Roosters
2. Cowboys
3. Souths

Teams that are obviously better than us:

4. Melbourne
5. Warriors
6. Canterbury
7. Manly

Teams that I think are potentially on par with us:

8. Penrith
9. Wests
10. Parramatta
11. Newcastle
12. Cronulla (actually much better on paper, but predicting a very disrupted season for the Sharks)

And teams that I think are worse than us and should fill the bottom four places:

13. Titans
14. Canberra
15. Broncos
16. Dragons (looking woeful, coach sacking and spoon specials)
