I have a fair size bet on GS to beat the record from back when I got 8-1 odds for it, been a pretty stressful couple of weeks, but Memphis just got put up at 17-1 to win tomorrow, so it was a pretty easy decision, now I can't lose.
Still can't believe they lost to the Lakers.

The majority of their losses were against below average teams, just a reflection of the randomness of the NBA and the grind of the schedule I guess.

That being said they may have dropped several games to terrible teams but they also got out of jail big time on at least 5 occasions where they really should have lost. The OT game against the Nets (of all teams), the one in OKC which 98 times out of 100 doesn't even get to OT save for that 10 seconds of madness, the double OT game in Boston, the Hawks game at Oracle, they almost blew a 20 something-lead against the Magic at Oracle, and then of course that Grizzlies game a few days ago

Some of that is credit to them of course, but it does really show how ridiculous 73-9 is and how much needs to go right for it to happen.

Even that 72-10 Bulls team lost to some pretty hopeless teams... Pre-Vince expansion Raptors for one...

Warriors cruising, Curry hits his 400th 3 pointer for the season

Meanwhile Kobe has already chucked up 34 FG attempts and the 3rd quarter isn't even over!

I was working all day..Just got to see the games then. Skipped to the final minutes of Kobes farewell and the GS game. Saw GS up 20 odd so skipped to the final seconds, felt inevitable tbh. Lakers game on the other hand... Nevermind the fact that he put up 50 shots... The final minutes where something special.

He has a teammate who shot 7/33, a below-par supporting cast and a bad coach.

He needs to stop shooting 3's though.

Chris Paul broken hand.

Griffin leg problem.

Its all turning to custard.

Spurs and OKC must be licking their lips if they're able to come up on top against each other.

Should be a good one.

As a Clippers fan, yesterday was pretty much as bad as it gets.

Griffin out for the season. Paul out indefinitely. Series now 2-2 and we have to win with Austin Rivers and Wesley Johnson/Paul Pierce as starters.

I doubt we get out of the first round now.

I feel really for CP3, he carried that team this year in Griffin's absence. Real shame the way that has turned out (and dare I say it, more luck for GSW).

OKC~! OKC! OKC!.....

You know Curry might only be out 2 weeks right? And his team has just been gifted either the Blazers or a broken Clippers team in his absence.

43pt first quarter by the Spurs. OKC are playing like a D-League team.
I know it's only the first quarter in a 7 game series but I can't see OKC being a competitive match for the Spurs. I've got the Spurs in 5

Spurs on another level... I really hope the Warriors can get through the west... Don't want to be that team that breaks regular season records and then falls at one of the final hurdles...

Ignore me....OKC just beat the Spurs in San Antonio to lead the series 3-2. This is why I don't gamble!

The twin towers / Stach bros are coming of age.

with KD and WB.

Lethal.
Yeah... From a Kiwi perspective I don't think I've ever seen Adams play as well and as consistent as this series...

Him and Kanter have really turned this series OKC's way.

It's tight though...

But even if OKC manage to close it out in game 6...

I don't know if the stache bro's will have as big of an effect on GSW and the small lineups they can put out there...

Yeah I think even if OKC does get through I would have given the Spurs a better chance of toppling GSW than OKC. Then again I wrote off OKC a while ago due to the lack of support for Durant/Westbrook and Donovan looking out of his depth so they've done very well to do what they've done this series.

Yeah, I would agree. Say for argument sake they somehow get past GW to reach the finals.

To then get past the Cavs and win it all is probably pushing it because they don't play enough consistent basketball for you to trust they can go all the way . They've shown they can go hot - cold at anytime. Absolutely diabolical game 1 against the Spurs followed by 4 very solid performances - they're due for another meltdown soon....
