The Titans have acheived nothing to make it a genuine rivalry. Broncos v Titans is not a special game. Titans have been out of the finals for 5 years, they look further away than ever. Why would the average bloke in the street be excited about that game.

For a local derby it's piss poor. Titans are really a poor supported team and even the Brisbane crowd won't turn up for this game

Sydney just keeps topping itself. Was it a bit damp? Were the Swans playing? Mid strength beer?

Do people think that is acceptable for two traditional Sydney clubs? Despite tigers form, it's not good enough, and the NRL is going to have to tell clubs to start justifying their place in Sydney or ship em off to places that will appreciate them.

Roosters thinking about moving games to ANZ? you may get 500 people turn up.

The Tigers should consider playing less games at ANZ next year.

We are all suppose to hate Monday nights because of the crowds yet in most timeslots in Sydney they average just as bad as Monday nights, moving day is coming and a couple of Sydney clubs better start packing, I'm sure their hundreds of fans will be disappointed.

These crowds make me want to strangle a panda.....

How many people are in South East Queensland? Embarrassing crowd, matches between Sydney suburbs draw more than matches between the two biggest cities in Queensland. f**king hell...

Last night's 27,664 the worst crowd Gold Coast have played in front of at Suncorp in their history, and easily the worst for the Broncos v Titans fixture.


Tigers v Roosters... just woeful. Tigers need to get some results to bring the fans back.

Another sub 30k for Broncos despite being top of the ladder, something must be wrong in Brisbane rugby league for this to occur. To get quarter of games to be sub 30k at 1st place and for there to be little bandwagon is a concern.

Watching Tigers v Roosters last night, I'm not sure what the crowd was- but I wonder about the effect of empty stands on the psyche of the Rugby League fan. I am aware there are financial realities behind the urban v suburban ground debate, but it surely can't be good to have the idea of 'people don't go and watch live games' reinforced every week. A full(er) smaller stadium has to be good to this end.

Do you mean back before the titans were perennial losers who had alienated through Searle the near totality of their fan base? Yep, 40k back then.

The ship is being turned at the Titans but it will take time. They have a small hardcore base of support but it will be a few years of good administration and good infield results until things pick up in the crowd department.
