Clearly you can't so you resort to name-calling. Nuff sed.

Says the wanker that responded with a 16 year old girl LOL.

Then tried to big note yourself by insinuating that Rugby League should only aim for crowds of 200k and 300 Million viewers, and anything less is a negative.

Do you understand how deranged you sound?

Everyone should look at the collington v gold coast afl game on now. Crowd is poor and literally 90% collington fans

Lol NFI!

Just been in four pubs in Brisbane City, union and afl on every screen. Wot no NRL? Oh that's right its origin week.

Origin should be a massive strength for the game. Instead it just highlights how ltd the popularity of RL is and kills the club comp during its period.

I'd love to see origin get 2 million and kangaroos get 5million. The two best rep teams in the world are kangaroos v kiwis. The two most entertaining games of rep RL in recent years have been England v NZ. Origin is good for two states to get excited about.

Not only name-calling but twisting other's ideas to suit. If your arguing skills were football skills you'd make an origin team. But only in 2015, not when good players played, so don't get too cocky.

What you have to understand is that Queenslanders in particular can't allow themselves to believe origin is anything other than a massive deal and a completely accurate measure of their relevance as a state. Its so vital to their identity that to face the fact that its appeal is seriously limited would f**k with their simple minds big style. The reality is almost no one outside Australia even knows what qld is but they can't conceive of such a thing and certainly won't entertain the possibility that origin will simply have to be relegated to what it really is if the sport is ever going to be taken seriously outside NSW and qld.

Only game on tonight and only game in Sydney. No reason for a semi decent crowd regardless or missing players, Tigers aren't that affected so no excuse for the fans in Western Sydney that support the Tigers

There's the flaw in your argument. How many members have they got? The Tigers fan base has been diminishing for a number of years. Apparently it is a bit cold so expect 11k.

And 5 people in total where watching

You two don't give a f**k about our great game, you just want to see every game, administrator and competition fail so you can sit there and say "I told you so"

For some reason you can't envisage a world where Rugby League is popular at all levels, club, domestic rep level and international.

You'd rather see it die than have that situation.

So in essence, the customer (i.e Queenslanders) are wrong.

Good luck with your business management career.

Which would be fine if nrl, international and soo where getting same hype but as is all the talk since round one has been who nsw will pick for origin. The test match was a second thought and the club games even further down the hype o meter. You could live with it if it was actually growing the game but bitching about Taking a game outside the two states plus failure in ticket sales would suggest it's not even that great for raising interest in the game.

Still I acknowledge I'm a neutral when it comes to origin so have little investment in it other than enjoying it as a game of RL above club level.

It won't happen this tv deal but this is a perfect time to be showing QRL games on the big and small screens during the day.

Hopefully the next deal when Origin is played on the Wednesday (can't see it changing to Saturday) on a stand alone weekend prior should be similar to what we had over the test weekend but perhaps showcase a lot of the second tier games or a second tier 9's comp combined with the u20's?

But do you realise that your solution to this is killing something successful?

And for what? So some dumb TV commentators and Tabloid hacks annoy you?

It's like killing the Melbourne Cup because people in the UK don't watch it.

As for taking it interstate, I 100% support this.
