Another shit knights crowd. Anyone know their lowest ever season average? Could be tracking towards a new record this season.

Far more than that.
I bought mine long after the $50 tix started and my pax is 29k.
FFS it doesn't have to move from Wednesday if it becomes stand alone!Put it on whatever day the networks want. Just pause the comp for 3 weeks.
My PAX as of tonights purchase 77,508
Nothing like a good firesale!
Origin is a real freak of an event, if they move it to sunday (only real option) and even decrease the hype by 10% it has the potential to cost NRL 10's of millions of dollars...
Wednesday just has a feel about it that its just right, reasons why it wont change;
Sunday night feels more like a school night,
people would be less likely to travel interstate to see games,
other TV stations have stronger shows up against it on Sunday,
would only have a 6 day build up,
AFL could in theory schedule a Sunday night big game against it,
This dickhead said we'd only get 60k
I said he knows nothing
Once again, I am right.
How is this for a novel idea, put it on Saturday night. You know that night where the majority of the population is willing to stay up late and travel for large events.
I’m sure the ratings will take a bit of a hit but no less people we will be watching, they will be socialising and watching it at the pub, a mates place or whatever it may be and god forbid we are allowed to do that.
While we are at it, have 3 Saturday’s in a row whilst the NRL is on a break and add whatever other internationals, women’s games and junior origin’s you can. Decrease the rounds from 26 to 24 and scrap the rep weekend and lo and behold, each team gets a 3 week break and the season is exactly as long as it is now and each NRL team plays 24 regular season games at full strength (injuries aside).
Channel 9 might whinge and moan and try and hold back $10 million or whatever but who really cares? This obsession with matching or bettering the AFL deal at the expense of the integrity of the NRL competition is ridiculous, the deal will be over $1b regardless.

44k over a four game weekend when that features a game in Canberra isn't too bad. Of all the crowds the Souths v Parra crowd was probably the worst all things considered - 50k members between the clubs and an 11k crowd is embarrassing.
Pouring rain, and in the worst stadium for wet weather.
It is CRAY CRAY to have 3 full weekends with absolutely no RL in middle of winter...
this alone will cost about $25 million a year off the rights... which is like $125M over a 5 year deal
and sit back and watch, A league put the GF on one weekend, AFL have all SYdney and BRIS derbies on, ARU teams will all be at home that weekend...
What we need to do is find 6 (3 weeks x 2) RL based games (not NRL) that can be played on the FRI, SUN of the weeks before origin
For those PAX freaks I just bought tickets with a PAX of 78,960
