Then explain the massive difference in TV ratings between an NRL game and an Origin game, and I do mean massive?

Explain the fact that we had 80,000 plus in the first game this season and 90,000 plus last week in Melbourne, while the NRL average this season is around 15,000?

Explain the fact that many people talk about Origin, but as soon as its over its like what's Rugby League?

Like it or not to many people the league season starts and finishes with Origin.

Utter crap. Applying your logic for many people the League season starts and finishes with the Grand Final.

There are only three origin games, not 192 like the NRL?

Well, you explain to me why more people watched the Grand final last year then the Origin last week?

Geez you say some dumb things at times... Comparing SOO to an NRL game...

15 posts since kickoff.
1 about the melbourne crowd.
None posting the crowd.

The troll to moderator ratio in this forum must be a billion to one.
But hey, at least the mods are first class at moving threads that mention TV to the media watch thread.
Clearly the biggest issue on LU.

Does anyone know what the capacity of Belmore is these days for next Monday night's game?

Yeah they're restricting it to 20,000!

10,000 members have tickets for the game (Hopefully they all turn up)... After the first day of sales to members for extra tickets 1,200 were snapped up a couple of weeks ago before going on sale to the Public! Only single tickets available on the Grandstand and concourse with the Terry Lamb Family Hill and behind the grandstand tickets still available!

I'm predicting 17,000+ crowd... Getting to Belmore by 7pm will be a struggle but wouldn't miss this!!!

Sounds like such an awesome event for Bulldogs fans. Why would they not give it a Sunday afternoon!?
