Haha Shorty, give it a rest mate. Yes, the Sydney folk prefer your beloved Cowboys. 75% is 63,375. Ha! Over a third of Townsville must be going, not sure how?

Brisbane has access to many more flights, plus the option to drive. I am positive there will be many more core Broncos fans than Cowboys fans.

However, like I said. The Sydney people will be supporting the Cowboys. Meaning the Stadium will have more support for the Cowboys. I suggest you take your time to read before scrambling to reply.
Seems someone's feelings are hurt:lol:

It will be by you, claiming that all the Sydney folk wearing blue and grey are core fans that flew in from Townsville.

21k for a home final on a Saturday, you're not going to get 65000 to Sydney. Sometimes you just can't mediate with stupidity. So good luck, enjoy, ps, a core fan is someone who has travelled there. Counts you out ;).

It will be interesting to see what the attendance will be for the Grand Final. Will it better that of the 2006 NRL Grand Final of 79,609, which is the lowest attendance for a grand final at ANZ stadium.

I think I'll be barracking for the broncs, can't have cowboys winning, it will get too lonely in the premiershipless club.
I don't want to be stuck with only the sharks and titans for company :(

Even though Sydney is so anti Broncos, I think we will all be surprised how many Broncos fans will be there. I mean actual fans, not neutrals going for Brisbane.

It goes like this in Sydney SLR. People in Sydney hate Brisbane for a number of reasons which are:

1. Success. Brisbane is the most successful and well run club in the NRL hands down on and off the field going as far back as 1988. You have the Broncos at number 1 then there's the rest.
2. Rivalry. it was always good to hate Allan Langer, Michael Hancock and Gordon Tallis.
3. Queensland. When you think of the Brisbane Broncos you really tend to think of QLD as they seem to represent QLD far more then what the Cowboys do if that makes sense. Hating the Broncos goes hand in hand with hating QLD whereas the Nth QLD Cowboys are just some team, that plays somewhere far up north, detached and far away from reality and they're just some team that never really beats anybody (well not the first 20 years anyway).

So to answer your question YES the Broncos do have more supporters then the Cowboys in Sydney hands down and that's obvious when you talk to people and when you go to games. You always see far more Brisbane supporters then you do Nth QLD but the majority of neutrals this Sunday I'd say will be going for the Cowboys.

People tend not to hate the Cowboys here but they do hate Brisbane.
I remember going back to 2004 when the Cowboys beat the Dogs in the finals after sneaking into the 8 in 8th position or something like that from memory. The state of NSW really got behind the Cowboys that year and I remember even when I went to the Cowboys v Roosters game at ANZ there was a hell of a lot of Cowboys supporters there that surely had to be a good chunk of them from Sydney.

My argument was more based around Brisbane fans having better opportunities to come down. I was looking at flights on Friday night and Saturday morning, along with the GF tickets for mates that decided on coming and they were both selling like hotcakes.

Come Saturday night all the Tville peeps really had was their limited direct flights.

I'm hearing massive promotion of the AFL GF on ABC News radio. All paid for by the taxpayer.
Go Cowboys...Cowboys by a field goal.

I'd say at this point its a bit unreliable with the amount of tickets being trying to be re-sold via third party sites.

Yeah no way I'd be buying my tickets from Ticketek if i wanted to go to this game.

Did you end up changing your gold's mate?

You can now get 15 tickets in a row in bay 107, thats on the half way line prime position. is this a reflection of people unwilling to pay these prices or the fact that people arent aware that these seats are available.
