Yes!

Reds pulled 26,374 yesterday which was massive considering the dreadful Rugby that they have been playing.

Just give us notable opposition.

The Broncos top of the table couldn't crack 35k yet the Reds get 26k. Too close for my liking considering how dominant the Broncos are the crowds should reflect it no excuses. The times it which the Lions/Reds outdrew the Broncos were embarrassing for a league city.

Broncos should be a team getting 40k minimum every home game (besides Monday). The other codes should be non-competitive with the Broncos but at times it's get too close for a league city.

Also, SLR the Lions under 20k this weekend plus 0-4 start means they will be irrelevant in the Brisbane sporting landscape once again this year. To think once upon a time they outdrew the Broncos for 4-5 years. Normality has set it in the Brisbane sporting landscape.

Nah, still got 8,000 more with a crap time slot after a 4am start.

Should get 40,000 to every home game is a ridiculous thing to say. An average of 35,000+ would be great, and mean that we have the largest home attendance of ANY Rugby or Rugby League team in the world. Even better than the South Africans, English and French.

To get 40,000 at Suncorp we need to sell a large amount of category Maroon and Blue, which are simply not affordable for families every week. Just not going to happen for teams like Cronulla, Penrith, Tigers, Canberra, Roosters, Parramatta and Knights. The others are a potential depending on externals like form, weather and build up.

Parra crowds in Brisbane have been average for a while now.

Oh for the days of 50k at that craphole ANZ Stadium (QEII).

And for the days of 15k at the same ground.

Yeah the largest crowd v Parra at Suncorp was 38,100 in 2010 when we were fighting for a finals spot.

The usual is like 25,000. So 34,400 is great. Our average will start to fall now with the likes of Penrith, Newcastle, Manly and Tigers but if we look at the last three home games for the Broncos, Bulldogs, Dragons and Melbourne - these will all most likely be 35,000 plus.

In other news - Up to 250mm of rain to fall in Brisbane on Thursday and up to 100 on Friday. Eeeeek.

Test has been selling great guns. Level 5 almost sold, level 6 half sold. Pax would be 34,000.

Will stall though, rain coming.

It can rain all week for all I care, there is only 1 game that will be affected anyway. Hope the blue skies are back in 2 weeks.

Top of the table should negate the low drawing teams anyway SLR, what else do Broncos supporter want to attend. As far as concerned, top 4 teams should draw big crowds. Now at top of the ladder the Broncos should crush the Lions/Reds crowd wise and show them who's the dominant Brisbane team. Have crowds worthy of a league city.

Buddy, thats rubbish. The only thing that will negate a low drawing team is that said teams current form. For example, if the Broncos are running first and Newcastle are running second. You ignored the important point that I made clear for you. To get 40,000 at Suncorp the expensive seats In categories Maroon and Blue need to be sold - this is not affordable for many, if any, every week.

You speak as if there is NOTHING to do in Brisbane other than attend Broncos games.

They currently are destroying both.

Any word on the Pacific Test? Ticket sales aren't looking too great on ticketek.

A few here and there across the 300 bays.

500s almost sold out, just a few bays to go. 600s are half sold. South 700s will open soon, maybe the Bronze on the 700 south east corner first.

Hardly a shame. If the weather is meant to be awful, we would rather it this week where we don't have critical NRL games on. Disappointing sure, but I'd rather it pour this week and fine up next week.
