The 10k that turned up should be applauded. Not one will go home saying what a great game that was

Can't wait for our clash v roosters at allianz on a monday night. Will show that all games should be at the big stadiums not suburban grounds. Will sell out imo.

that's what I thought, apparently WIN relinquished naming rights of kograh last year so now it's just Jubilee Oval.

Yeah, you're right that they relinquished the naming rights for last year. But some papers still had "WIN Jubilee" for Kogarah last year, despite having no naming rights.

Many papers call it just Jubilee Oval so far for this season.

Poor crowd, nonetheless for the game last night. It certainly looked like there was less than 10k there, despite them calling it 10k.

Should be a combined minimum crowd of 70,000 for the Bulldogs v Parra and Roosters v Rabbitohs matches. Means the other matches only need to have an average of 11,000 to beat round 2 of last year. Sea Eagles and Storm will hopefully be at least 15,000 whioch will make up for the small Bathurst crowd

Nothing wrong with the strategy.
Down here Hawthorn play 7 home games in Melbourne and 4 in Launceston. They give Melbourne members access to 4 away games which works well and these are usually some of their biggest crowds for the year. This is the 15th year of the arrangement.
It helps when you are winning of course.

Last night's crowd was as horrible as the match - the whole thing just missed the mark for some reason. They should have made the first Monday night a match that would draw a crowd.
