The Sea Eagles are becoming the Warriors with the number of jerseys they are putting out.

From what I heard Warriors were in the top 2 of sales of jerseys in 2014 with over 50K sold. I think Canberra were one of the bottom clubs with 7K sold.

Interesting numbers . If the figure of 50K was correct that is a very healthy number.

mmmm another thing pissing me off about the broncos, EVERY (i think) other team, releases a shop replica which is bang on to what you see on telly (minus the grip bumps, and the elastic side panels) the jersey even the same cut as on the field- sleeves that join to the collar instead of shoulder, however the broncos jersey you can buy is about as good as quality as a $45 'classic' cut you can get from Strudwicks Sports.. the sleeves stop at the shoulders and everything is square and ugly...

annoyed broncos fan rant over...
Which is due to the jerseys being manufactured by Nike. They do the same with the football (soccer) shirts that they manufacture. For example they have created two versions of the 2015/16 Roma home shirt - authentic (£85.88) and stadium (£61.04).

Number 1 in the NRL. By a long shot. 40K average every year for the last 4 years.

A lot of teams release the same amount but the Warriors stand out for the sheer amount of different colours and designs they use. Manly at least use their colours in their designs. Bar of course the Wolverine one from last year. That and the green trial jersey in 2009 are the only ones I can think of that didnt use the Manly colours...

I find it very strange that they're having pre-orders for these jerseys when the jersey designs themselves have not been released. Why would you fork out $180 or whatever it is for something where you don't even know what it looks like?

Souths led me to believe they were get in on the ISC Marvel act too.

Its DC comics (superman ,batman ect) vs marvel comics (ironman, captain america). Souths like the storm are signed up to DC comics whilst the others have done marvel comic jerseys . Both I believe are owned by movie makers these days.

Yet at the time storm were still owned by News (20th century fox) they had a jersey sponsoring a Warner Bros. Franchise with the Dark Knight jersey.

I wait with baited breath for the Dawn of Justice jersey next year!
