double celebration for some then, after we beat the storm the ones that won a seat on the board can celebrate with the players and fans.

Voted at Vikings earlier today - no queues and no dickhead candidates hassling each other ad everyone else!

Received how-to-vote handouts from volunteers for the ParraFirst, Professionals, and ParraMount tickets. When I showed my card, a staff member with mobile phone had to ring through to Parra Leagues and read my membership number out - to check that people weren't voting in both locations, I guess?

Gee ParraMounted's how-to-vote is pretty ordinary, suggesting that there may be "misconceptions and propaganda being dsitributed by opposing tickets". Ray Price thoroughly embarassed himself on a Triple M interview today, and on top of the debacle with their website (requiring legal apology) surely no-one will be conned into voting for those clowns?

I guess Riddell, Caterick and Barber are the only real chances of getting on, having secured their space on the how-to-votes of two of the main three tickets.... Here's hoping Sharp's ParraFirst get all seven up - but if not, they should at least have a 4 to 3 majority.

Cameron Smith says they don't look at ladder positions this early in the season. But our idiot fans certainly do.

Storm probably look at the quality of football they are playing. Which is fair enough. The quality of football the eels are playing not surprisingly represents our position on the ladder.

I don't think people look at the ladder as such after Round 9, well they shouldn't, but at the start of the season we had to win 13 games out of 24 to make the Top 8.

That equation is now 10 wins from 15.

Thinking about the move from the Fitzy (professionals) and Spagnolo (ParraMount) camps to share some common candidates on their how-to-votes... I think they f**ked up by only sharing three - Riddell Catterick and Barber.

Let's say these three guys do actually get elected to the Board - if the total votes that follow the handouts for the Professionals plus those that follow the handouts for ParraMount eclipse the number that follow the ParraFirst handout.

In that scenario, it would only be the three guys mentioned (that are listed on both tickets) that would get in, assuming the majority of members voting choose to follow the ParraFirst how-to-vote and that ticket claims the other four spots.

Spags and Fitzy should have shared four candidates across tickets, not three. It was a desperate move in the first place, but if they were going to make it they should have made it so that they (together) at least stood a chance of stopping ParraFirst from getting a majority....?

These shadowy faction leaders can't even collude with each other properly!

My sources are hearing the same thing.

Want to see it confirmed before getting too excited at the prospect of the end of the Fitzy-Spagnolo era...

I wonder what the supreme court would make of the garbage that was on Jodeci's ParraMount website earlier in the week about Sharp, that was soon replaced by a legal-sounding disclaimer... apologising as requested for any harm caused to "your client"?

Lol. Go for it Pricey and Ben Smith, you guys are so hard done by... The Castle this isn't!
