Agree Mate.. some other very negative things were when 18-6 up we turned down 2 kicks at goal and luckily we got a try on the third occasion when we should have set for a field goal.. sounds irrelevant now but that shit has been costing us games and seems we have learnt zero from it.
Ohhh and yea Lolrence is still shit no matter where he plays.

I forgot about that. They had a few opportunities to put it beyond 2 tries with the penalty shot. The first was 50ish out so I can understand that one but then they get another penalty right in front and don't take the two when they would have got the ball back again and all but secured the win there and then. I like that they backed their attack but the smart play was the two and I think Richards was the captain at the time.

Gee Galloway would be concerned how good Ava is looking. Has been terrific all year on limited minutes. Quality prop on the rise.

Won't get the plaudits of some of the others, but thought Lovett was tremendous tonight. Made yards after contact, strong in defence, swept up at the back a few times. If he can add some good line/hole running to his game we might have a proper footballer on our hands.

agree, I can't see how Siro dislodges him or Lawrence.

Maybe siro as a ball playing five eight as Moses needs to be dropped.

just finished watching the replay and concur with the comments.

Siro will come back into the 13 and that is unfortunate. No way he deserves that based on his performances this year if we have to persevere with anyone in the 2nd row it is Lovett and Lawrence.

Mitch, sorry I mean wittyfan, you need a long stint in the NSW Cup. Your defence has improved but you need to take control, run the f**king ball, back up your bigger forwards, improve your kicking game and 1st grade isn't the place to learn those skills.

Manly at Brookie next, a great test and a real indication of the performance last night is how they backup 7 nights later or in the case of Woods 2 sleeps after SOO (thinking Farah might need the extra time to recover)

Ava and Lodge made a huge difference. Taupau outstanding. Ava needs more minutes.

FMD Moses is a gimp. f**kin useless.

You're right Charlie, there was no drop in intensity when the bench came on. Lately that hasn't been the case. Both these guys went well but Ava was a stand out.

So far as Moses, I've started calling him 'The Groundhog' cause nothing ever changes, from his kicks, to his runs and to his defence. The one kick that wasn't an up and under dribbled straight to the opposition.

Moses looks way out of depth. He does not threaten the line, he rarely takes the line on, he passes way to early, his kicking game is an embarrassing joke, he has zero creativity, his defensive reads are apalling, he waits for the attacker to reach him before he commits to a tackle.

He's playing scared.

That is hard to fix.

While we are on the subject of new names . . .. . last night I couldn't help myself and jumped on the Souffs page and stirred some shit with alien.
It got me to thinking how on earth a grown man could change his football team. It just isn't done
The closest thing I could compare it to . . . to help me understand how he did it . . . is the whole Bruce Jenner thing.

From here on, he who was once called alien should now be called Jenner.

Spot on summation of young Moses, i will also add, what is it with his passes to no body ?every game this happens along with passes to team mates that are heavily marked.! In defence a statue could be standing in front of him and he would miss it,appalling technique doesn't help.:x

As Siro has struggled in 2nd row & played juniors @ 5/8 & as Moses is our Achilles heel then it's logical that Taylor must bring Siro back @ 5/8 & send Moses to state cup until he is ready for 1sts.This change must be made for us to have any chance of playing in finals this season.

Even in our best performance this season Moses was glaringly shithouse.

There just is not one part of Moses' game that is up to first grade standard. Not one thing.
He brings literally not one thing to the table to help the team let alone make the team better.

On the other hand every single aspect of his game is a liability and degrades the team.

Ive never seen anyone carried like this before. There does need to be an investigation.

3 - Taupau
2 - Ted
1 - Brooks.

Ava looked the business, good to see him get some minutes on the park. Just all the forwards were great I thought. Keef really good first 20 mins. What a difference that makes. And a weekend not depressed!
