I see they have installed a pool at the Gabba for this test.

If you don't need to piss, you haven't drunk enoughId piss in it for sure if i was in it, even if i didn't really need to go i'd squeeze a bit out just for the personal satisfaction of knowing everybody else is bathing in my urine at the cricket.
Hello!I see they have installed a pool at the Gabba for this test.
I was watching him thinking.............I wonder if Sean Marsh is watching him bat
The good openers play and miss a lot, Taylor made an art form of it.The one that gets me is "he plays and misses too often!!!"
I don't see it all. To me he plays deliberately inside the line and doesn't chase anything. Most of those so called plays and misses are as good as leaves IMO.
What is to be gained by playing to deliberately miss? ... you are just risking if something unexpected happensThe one that gets me is "he plays and misses too often!!!"

Langer was another who played and missed his way to plenty of tons.
Oh right ... if he's not playing a shot then fair enoughHe's not "playing", really. He's allowing the ball to pass him and ensuring he doesn't get out of shape or play outside his body. That's how you nick out. It's just a different way of leaving of the ball really.
Plus by playing inside the line of the ball you cover the LBW if it does hoop back. Play the line, don't chase the outswing, keep yourself compact and you'll score runs
