Junior was quite cranky so I don't know that they will. KP was ripping into him about selections. Was enjoyable, even if I don't agree with KP about selecting Maxwell, I particularly liked him asking how Junior still has a job after the bowling attack him and his mates sent to South Africa

I just had a look at Chris Lynn's first class record. How is he not a contender for the test side?

He probably would be except he's been injured the last two years in about September-October and hasn't played much cricket apart from BBL. I think he'd been fit for like three weeks before this tournament

Ahh. Thanks. I thought it was weird cos there's all this talk about how there's no players averaging 40+ demanding to be picked.

Nothing wrong with his technique, and no such thing as a "test match technique" anyway.

He averages 45, has scored six hundreds in the middle order with a top score of 250. If Nic Maddinson and Peter Handscomb can get a go, Lynn would absolutely be in consideration if he had been fit

Is that a thing, though? As distinct from a first class technique? Sure can hit a ball, and seems to relish pressure, although admittedly I'm probably biased after watching his last two bbl innings.

Lynn supposedly has a weakness against spin but from what i have seen in the bbl in the past that hasnt been a problem he has smashed everyone.

Only played 10 shield games in the past 2 and half years due to injury which is why he hasn't been talked about the test team but he wouldn't be the worst the number 6 in the test team.

They also said the same thing about warner and his technique that he was a slogger and wouldnt make it in tests and he has 5000 runs at a average of 49 not bad if you ask me.
