Well, to be fair, they aren't exactly the best teams to showcase the NRL in Perth...

Albany classic was awsome day. String fans along and eventually they're going to say f**k you. Souths have sold out previous two years, either 8k warriors fans haven't turned up or many RL fans like me have had enough.

Still could be worse, could have drawn less than 4K lol. Prob around 14,500 at it I'd say.

Just the truth. Many on here seem to enjoy the fact the NRL isn't in a strong enough position to expand, does seem strange for so called RL fans to not want to see the game grow don't you think?

Yep it's not a priority. Getting more than 4K fans of two Sydney teams to a game should be their priority.

Why would they expand to Perth when the city of 2 million can't even fill out a 20000 seat stdium once a year clearly there currently isn't enough interest to expand. Not a factor of the nrl not being strong enough to

Perth seems on the slide all round. AFL crowds down. The Union team always have an empty stadium whenever I flick around get channels.

Interesting to see what the population of Perth ends up? They have all these estimates of 2m based on projected growth since 2011 sensus but people are fleeing the joint like rats off a sinking ship.

Maybe the NRL have decided to spend the money on a f**king weather machine rather than expansion to Perth. Houses near me have been evacuated its not just a little bit of rain, I go to every NSW game and I doubt I would have gone today.
