2016 Crowd Watch

Amazing crowd for the titans today. This and their Monday night crowd might be the most impressive crowds of the season. Let's hope they can continue this momentum into next year.

Good crowd at leichardt as well. It's amazing how excited everyone gets about big crowds despite them supposedly being so unimportant for the game. Fans both at the game and at home love it. The commentators and media all jizz themselves about it. And the clubs seem to indicate that it brings in a lot of money.

Yet we still have the people on here convinced that crowds aren't important anymore.

Rains stayed away, decent crowd at LO for a ground fit for the80's.

You don't seem to mind suburban grounds for world cup games including QF's so not sure what your complaint is.

We've had that discussion elsewhere ($1million!) lol.

Going from the TV perception of the Titans game to this one is like stepping back to a local suburb competition in the 70's. Good job it isn't raining.

And you don't think going from sold out games at stadiums like Suncorp, Aami, Allianz etc to playing games at suburban grounds like cairns and Darwin isn't?

So your only complaint about playing suburban grounds is the money? So you'd have no problem with every team in the comp moving to suburban grounds a long as they pay a bit of cash?

You're a hypocrite basically.

Apparently a full suburban ground's "TV perception" is not as good as tens of thousands of empty seats and no atmosphere, which is exactly what the alternative is.

Lol, our bar is so low we consider 14k in the games heartland a massive success.

Yep looks awesome on tv
I'm loving it

You're used to shark park, of course you are. It's one of the few sports grounds in the country that makes yours look good.

The straw man argument. ANZ is sht so let's play at sht suburban grounds.

Tigers v Titans should go close to selling out next week at Campbelltown. Tigers on fire and Hayne heads back to where it all began.

Warriors deserve a crowd near 20K too.

can you stop using the word "our" when you post about footy.
If you are a pommie living in Perth
You don't have a team .
Therefore you can't talk about the game like you do have a team to follow .

14k for a team outside the eight against a team from 3000km away.

At a ground that holds about 19k these days.

Rugby league is the game, not NRL. That is merely a competition made up of 16 clubs. Hard to comprehend for you?

Was a bit shocked to hear that this will be Haynes 1st ever game at Campbelltown Stadium as a NRL player.

Like I said, it's a low bar. For how the attendances are its a good crowd. For where the NRL could and should be it should be dissapointing. The fact it is celebrated says it all. We have slipped to resignation that any crowd over 12k is now a good pass.
