8,308 apparently lol lucky to be half that

Are GWS actually nieve enough to think everyone believes those crowd figures. Some halfwit on twitter was going on about how they average over 21K compared to the Wanderers 14K, quoting "the numbers don't lie". Usually I find it hilarious when AFL types and Football fans go head to head but these are serious delusions.

Agree

Tigers v Dragons
Bulldogs V Eels

Possibly could crack 50-55k at best I'd say, but they'd all have to be in really good form

Eels vs Dogs on a Friday night get regular 30k crowds, put this game on the weekend and add Tigers vs Dragons fans and should be a sellout.

I doubt we'd get 80'000 to a double header for regular season matches. Maybe after the reconfiguration. But sitting in the nosebleeds sucks.

I frequently see afl fans count a clubs average as home and AWAY crowds and then just the home crowds as an after thought, just another way they spin information for their gain.

I don't mind double headers and we should utilise them more it is important to not over saturate the season with the concept. It could be an easy way to add 2-3 event type games to the calender in the may to july period were we dont have so many event clubs games normally. One in sydney, melbourne and brisbane each per year would be more than enough

Yeah the stadium is shit tbh, Dogs vs Eels early on in the season would get close to 50k on its own.

Then add in Tigers vs whoever and would push it past 70k imo.

But those last 13k seats in the nose bleeds are the big sticking point, might as well give those tickets away for free to get past 80k.

So I guess Manly will get a massive boost in crowd average due to that game. However there was no real advantage for them in taking a home game to Suncorp. Majority of Crowd were still behind the Broncos.

Lies, damn lies and statistics lol
Between that game and hopefully a sell out in Perth Mnaly should get their biggest "home" crowd avg ever.

$350,000 over break even at best at Brookvale is somer sort of advantage.

Aware of that sport.

27k were willing to go all those years ago.

Couldn't sell out a 20k capacity stadium against a fellow Sydney team in an extremely meaniful game in terms of the club's history.

Yeah..ground holds 20k sport.

Progress...

No it doesn't.

16,150 here in Newcastle. I don't know how much longer we are going to see solid crowds like that here.
