Jesus Christ that last set may have literally killed some of the older sharks fans. I honestly thought they were going to break their hearts for a moment.

Gallen giving a Lebrun level speech making it all about him

That last play of the game had Origin I 1994 written all over it. Seriously thought the Storm were going to score there in the right corner.

Re: Chambers play 3 mins earlier, can't blame him for that. When you slow it down, yeah, you can clearly see Cronk on the inside unmarked. But, I personally don't think Chambers was expecting to get the ball when he started running out of play after kicking the ball and got the shock of his life when he somehow regathered the ball. At fast motion, he wouldn't have known Cronk was there (given how far he was away from him) unless he turned his head in that direction and even then, would've only had about 0.2 of a second to pass the ball before coming into contact with the Sharks player. Nevertheless, that would've superceded Michael Morgan's play in last year's GF had Chambers pulled off the pass to Cronk.

Overall, this year's GF was far more entertaining than last year's borefest which only became exciting in the last few minutes. I thought the Sharks were in trouble when they were down 12-8, fatigue started setting in and injuries to players. But Fifita pulled off the crutch play when it mattered the most. Thought they should've led by at least another try at half-time, given the huge amount of possession they had.
