If Pirates went with the left and right (I don't like the white one much), that'd be pretty good.]

The white one is the best of the bunch imo, very French. The 10 year logo on the right is pretty cool too. I've never been a fan of the Dragons logo, or most of the ESL logos for that matter.

yeh I would love scarlet red and old gold to be our club colours. Either that or black and yellow which goes with our State colours.

At the moment they are going with black, non descript red and yellow with some white thrown in and for some bizarre reason occasionally orange down the side! Need to bring it down to two strong colours imo.

If theyre arent going to finish the V then they shouldnt do it at all....

V is already way over-used in the NRL (i get that its iconic RL, but that just means every new one is less note-worthy than ever), how about you try something new?

Why not something like this

(The great thing about horizontal/vertical lines is they are much harder to ruin with a sponsor)

And stripes are that very stereotypical pirate costume...

too rugby union for me the stripes like that. I love the double chevron of the Catalans, sure its RL cliché but wouldn't we better having a heritage look about us rather than a Titan style modern mish mash?
The pirates brand is so wacky you could do all sorts of one off specials but hopefully they would come up with a strong traditional main design that we could build brand awareness on.

This broncos jersey is fair dinkum the worst of all time.

From a distance they look like the storm.

Up close.bleeeech.

F*ck, that jersey captures everything i hate about the NRLs approach to jumpers....

It would be fine for the team to totally change there colours if the design was iconic (or at least recognisable). But this design is all of 2 years old and not even that distinct.

Its like the saying: if you change a broom handle, then you change the brush, is it still the same broom?
If a team totally changed its design, then it totally changes its colour, will anyone be able to tell which team this is?

Players and coaches will come and go, but the jersey and the logo are the core of the club (it doesnt matter that SOuths died for 2 years, their jersey/logo mean they are associated with the 100 years of history). If clubs keep f*cking with their jerseys AND their colours AND their logos, what is the difference in killing the team and starting again from nothing...

Wow. Think you're going a bit over the top here.

The bulk of the club base in the NRL has stuck with their same colours over time and most clubs have retained their logos at least since 1998, some longer. I think you lose sight of that in getting angry about one-off theme jerseys.

Dont get me wrong, this is probably the least shitty example (but that just shows to me how low the standards currently are)...

You say "the bulk of the club base in the NRL has stuck with their same colours over time" but youre entirely missing my point. The Broncos (like every other team) have changed their design a dozen times in the last decade, so in terms of design there is no such thing as a "Broncos jersey", the only thing left to them is their colours.

For them then to take one of these designs and change the colours, means there is nothing left of their brand.

This absolute disrespect for fans has gone on for so long that we all just accept it, but fan loyalty does have its limits. After 20 years of chopping and changing jerseys, we really are getting to the point where there is nothing left for fans to cling to.

When they continually change their jersey AND they continually change their colours, what is left to differentiate them from every other team? The clubs are sleep-walking back into the worst parts of the Super League war, and no one cares enough to stop it ("theres money to be man, boys!!")...

Um, the home jersey from about 2003/4-2013 was pretty much the same, maroon with yellow detail. Only thing that changed was how much yellow (trim -> side panels -> side panels and arch over chest)

They also kept the same design (barring an inversion of colours) from 88-96 from memory.

If memory serves I'm pretty confident they and the Titans are the only clubs who haven't done a WiL jersey over the ten years
