Been said many times in many threads on this forum but the MRC is a complete joke. Some horrible tackles that should have been heavily penalised have received nothing or next to nothing, while brushing the shoulder of the referee potentially earns you a week off or maybe not.

Zero common sense and zero consistency.

Plus I doubt Hodgson would of won the Dally M anyway. Yes he had a great start to the year but he was fairly quite for the middle of the season. Similar to Milford.

It's actually the same charge that Cameron Smith got which rubbed him out of the 2008 Grand Final. Smith got 2 games because of 90 odd carry-over points. That tackle was much worse than Hodgson's.
