Does anyone actually care about membership numbers anymore?

They don't seem to be doing much for clubs and the numbers we see are pretty basic, I have no doubts some clubs are fudging them.

I think we've got it the wrong way around, we thought memberships would make fans feel more engaged with their club when in reality we should've focused our time as a game on ACTUALLY engaging fans and then hopefully seeing crowds & memberships rise as a response to that.

I live in Victoria. I have membership number & the wars that you have with fellow fans etched into my brain.

Am hoping Storm lift their membership to up towards 20000 over the next season or so. Then we can actually be taken serious in comparison to AFL clubs & Melbourne Victory.

Melbourne need to do a non ticketed membership! been telling them for 5 years but every year they fail to capitalise on fans who wont be able to get to a game.

I guess the closest you could get is a NZ Plus membership for $70. Gives you the option of coming over & watching 2 games at AAMI Park as well. Plus you get the hat lanyard & eligibility for GF tickets as a member. Not too bad.

About 11,000 out of the 22,558 so far would be ticketed I reckon.

The Tigers in all seriousness probably only have 1,500 ticketed members currently.

Also why are the Broncos only around the 15,000 mark with their m/ship???

I thought the Broncos would be higher than that. Imo it is a poor effort so far.

I thought the Broncos m/ship would be through the roof.
