What is going on in Queensland? We only have three clubs but the Titans only play the Broncos and Cowboys once? No effort to build fanbases or derbies.

I'm sure the Lions will be playing the Suns twice...

Yep, they really should have had the Titans involved in the Suncorp double header as well (instead of Manly). Bronx, Titans, Cows and Storm (the "adopted" QLD team) would have been the shiz

It cannot and will not EVER suit everybody. It's shit and frustrating when it doesn't (I'll only make a handful of games next year myself) but that's life.

BTW Dogs away is Sunday 4pm - Dogs HOME is Thursday night.

I can cop that I can't make 3 or 4 games out of 12 - but I have to question the logic of buying a f**king season ticket if I can only make it to two or three games.

That is what is pissing me off no end

The NRL has finally worked out that Monday football is crap, so they're switching it in favour of an equally stupid idea. While they transition, they'll have a moron marathon with games on Thursday and Monday which screws with their own scheduling, player welfare and the fans ability to get to games

Our draw this year suits me more and i will get a ticketed membership as result.

However in general i agree the thursday to monday thing is going to damage crowds big time. If we get over 14k in 2016 i will be surprised.

Next time you do comparison a table you might wanna check your figures as a few of your figures wrong, for example the dragons were already over 10,000 when you posted.

Just re-checked - Dogs away is a f**king Thursday - empty stadium extraordinaire!!

So that means Souths, Eels and Raiders are looking like genuine away games with a trip to Gosford thrown in

That's four games away from Allianz - as many as I'll get to at Allianz if the last three home games are on at shit times too.

I'll be getting the interstate membership again after a 2 year break, purely because the Chooks are playing in Canberra. Excited that it's round 2 sat arvo and still daylight savings.

RL still doesn't understand fans are effectively customers. Sure we have an emotional attachment but at some point your not going to keep paying your hard earned if the product or service is shite. Wonder what the crowd avg has to drop to before they understand this?

I think every other Friday 6pm game is in NZ so most won't actually be 6pm for attending fans. Or at least that's what I read.

When you compare to afl's planned schedule in their new deal you realise how bad our fixtures are going to be! They will play the occasional Thursday but usual fixtures will be:
- One Friday night match
- Two Saturday afternoon matches
- One Saturday twilight match
- Two Saturday night matches
- Two Sunday afternoon games
- One Sunday twilight game

I guess having a national footprint gives better options for kick off times with the different time zones.

Alternate week
game one 7pm Ko Sydney
Game two 7pm Ko Perth - 9pm east coast

Would have solved the terrible prospect of playing a game on the east coast at 6pm

For the first time in years I am seriously considering not buying a membership

I have just checked the packages and I've got to pay $20 extra for a baseball cap and we only get 10 games at home this year

Do the Roosters have a 3 or 4 game package? You could still sign up for that one and get tickets to the matches you do go to cheap

You can take the good with the bad each year, can't believe as minor premiers we didn't get 1 Friday night game but we've had plenty in the past, however some parts of this draw are just completely unfair and unprofessional. The Manly and Easts players/clubs get screwed.Manly have 3 games in 10 days while Easts have 7 5-day turnarounds while other clubs have none...how can the NRL come up with that? It makes a mockery of the NRL so called "even" competition.

Poor Sharks fans

There are a bunch of them here at work that always buy season tickets
Now with 5 Monday night games they're not going to bother

A team like the Sharks can't afford for their fans to get f**ked over like this - it's a horrible boot in the guts for their fans.
