Hope Ponga plays firsts. Tigers NYC should win if that's the case. I know that's all anybody cares about

I alternate between phone and computer, see the sigs on the computer.
Just weird that you support to completely different teams.

Actually, Champ, I agree with you. The Cows are far too short especially with Lowe out.

Once it was clear winterstien was not playing the odds dropped to $2.75.
I took 1-12 @ $4 that's now$3.85.
People are entitled to their opinions but I believe the Broncos have a great side. A better side than the cows with or without Lowe.
However Lowe being out weakens the cows enormously. I reckon the Broncos will start the game @ around$2.30

Its a long story but Ill tell you..

Broncos all the way back to the days of Paul Hauff was my favourite team. Theyre the first team I watched and the team that drew me to the game. Then one day way back in the day, NZ free to air TV took them off free TV and put the Bronx on cable TV. My folks couldnt afford cable TV at the time. The only NRL league game free to watch was all the Warriors games. So I became brainwashed into liking the Warriors. It took years of watching only the Warriors to finally switch over but till this day, when the Warriors play the Bronx, Im absolutely on the fence. Now that the Warriors are not in the 8, Im back to my original team to support. I use to hate sport on TV and it was all my dad use to watch, that all changed when I saw the All Blacks, Mike Tyson and the Broncos.

Funny that these two teams were getting called the bench mark early in the season and now neither made it straight through to a prelim.

Media tend to be half a season or so behind in these things. At the start of a season the poor dears have nothing to go by but what happened last year.

I think top four finish is a must come finals week one as you get second chance (Cowboys, Raiders). No team has won outside the top four would suggest Brisbane and panthers won't win this year. I think storm and sharks played well enough to be afforded a jump to week three. As defending premiers everyone lifts to play you. I'd agree with that excuse for the Cowboys. The Broncos were just poor throughout the middle of the season they fell into the trap of playing just good enough to win against struggling opposition and against good opponents never rose to the occasion. This is still evident now except they rose against storm as they will tonight. Is it enough to beat Cowboys? Maybe. The Cowboys have won all but one game at home this season and JT was not playing that game. The Broncos will lift for this game like all other teams. It's going to be close.

I think what most excited me about this year's finals series is that I could make a case for every one of the 6 remaining teams to win the comp.

Someone will win from outside the top 4 will win eventually. Very possible it will be this year.

To me it looks like there are 5 teams aiming to beat Melbourne. Either Panthers/Canberra next week or sharks/cowboys/broncos in the big one. I could make an argument that any of those teams could do it.

As a neutral observer I'm very much looking forward to the next 3 weeks of footy. All 6 teams are very good sides. Put any two of them against one another and it should be a great game.

Really looking forward to tonight. Should be a cracker. Hope the cows win. Have no idea who actually will.

Brisbane by 8. Lowe is a huge loss and ponga will be targeted mercilessly, big step up frm u20s to nrl esp in a sudden death semi

Ponga selection is crazy, good for the kid's future but I'd be shitting myself if I was a Cow's supporter.
