Josh Hodgson is going to be sent out with a bung ankle . His defense around the ruck will suffer and his leg will literally snap off at a key moment. I will cry.

Indeed. Was that your last loss apart from a few days ago? Raiders are way ahead of where they were in the Bathurst game. One of Edricks finest efforts that game. Lol. Fortunately we have come along a bit since then as well. Here's to a much better spectacle come this weekend.

I like the raiders. Even with Hodgson out.

I believe they will bow out next week though.

Good year from the Panthers.

I think the raiders will get this,

Pennies were good against the dogs, but it was the dogs.

Baptiste will play in a Hodgson mask. Mind games..
he'd have to wear a wig wont he?

Hodgsons role in the attack is probably on par with smith for the storm in terms of how pivotal he is. I know using a player missing as an excuse for losing is weak but if you took granville tore something at training today it would greatly stuff our attack as well.

I have no idea why, but I just have no excitement or buzz about this game. I was so excited for last week, following all the stories and checking fox sports every half an hour, and then as soon as the game started all of a sudden I just didn't care as much. I have no idea why, I'm hoping I catch the excitement again. This week I don't think I've read a single story, it just isn't getting my attention for some reason.

I've got a feeling the start of NFL season might be the reason though.

Nah, Penrith are like Parra, their juniors are the greatest things ever and they're all already immortals despite playing 5 games of NRL combined. They usually fizzle out after a couple of seasons. They're a lot like young Dragons forwards when you think about it....

but no Hodgson, no hope. Penrith by 16.

I don't recall Parra having a good batch of juniors in recent memory. I can remember at least 4 batches of impressive Penrith Jrs though. Early 2000's - Lewis, Rooney etc, Late 2000's - Graham, Austin etc....and the current crop. Then there's the late 80's-early 90's crop which we battled in 2 GF's of course.
