This "will he,or won't he play or not" has been around forever.

Doesn't really matter whether he plays or not being the fact that Canberra are far from a one man band.

Exactly. Their attack is still formidable with the likes of Rapana, Leilua etc. but it's definitely their defence that will take a hit if he doesn't play. Especially if we play with the direct, quick pace we did against the Dogs.

70% chance of rain in Bruce on Saturday... really hope it doesn't affect what should be a great game.

BOM says only 40% chance of up to 0.4mm on Saturday.

However, looks like high chance of a lot of rain on Thursday and Friday, so suspect the ground will be damp either way, which might affect ball control.

There shouldn't be much difference really. It's raining in the days leading up so I guess it's possible the rain it's talking about is in the early hours of the morning.

Hope to see the peach give ole bj a lesson in centre play.
The raiders are in trouble here as I feel the panthers are a much more versatile side.
They can be flashy but also grind if they have to.
If Austin plays and I hope he does they have to get his one on one with cartwright as much as possible. Mbye really exposed him on the weekend.
Shit that tigers game feels like an eternity ago

Well if its a high ankle (?)
They will strap it to the max, basically be a peg leg but he's a dummy half...just have to scoot quickly and then pass.
Defensively is a different story I guess.
Don't forget the good old hyperbaric chamber

The only real reference we have for playing without Hodgson this year is when he was suspended for the Parramatta game a few weeks ago. We started with Clydesdale at hooker that day and they got out to a 0 – 16 lead. Baptiste came on and we ended up winning 28 – 18, so it’s not all doom and gloom I guess. Obviously the Panthers are a much better team than the Eels but there’s a bit of hope there.

Yeh obviously it helps us if Hodgson is out, but Baptiste is still easily a decent first grade option. I don't know if Hodgson out will have the major affect everyone thinks it will.

Should be a great game either way.

Screw that. I want us up by 30 at halftime. We have had enough nail biters this year. I can see it being very close though. Should be a cracking game for the neutrals. Heart attack material for us & the Raiders fans.
