Doesnt matter who wins. Neither side will beat the Storm.

whilst thats highly likely Matty Johns made a good point on triple m this morning. he said the storm love playing against teams who are structured but have always strugled against teams who throw the structure out the window. this is both the raiders and panthers.

in 2011 no one gave the warriors a hope and they did the job.

Which could be a masterstroke. We all remember Shaun's try of the century match winner against the Panthers earlier this year.

Bad luck for Clay but it might be a blessing if Vaughan is in. Or rick could call up femsflop

Vaughan has been excellent when I have seen him play. Obviously he was dropped for a reason, but if he is fired up I would be more worried about him than the poor merkin I've never heard of with the busted ankle.

Anyone took note of Josh Hodgson during various times of the week at training?

He was standing around the ground (sideline) and did not look in discomfort.

Not once was he spotted sitting down and taking the weight of his foot.

Yeah when he fronted the media on Tuesday he just had it strapped and walking around in thongs. I thought even if it was slightly bad he'd be on crutches keeping the pressure off it. But I'm no doctor, it's obviously bad enough that it's stopping him from training.

Standing and walking around is rather different to running and changing direction and getting tackled with considerable force. He might play given the nature of the match but he cannot possibly be anywhere near 100% and it would be quite risky. Then there's Austin. I have little doubt he will play but he really needs to be tested out by the opposition. Sticky's got plenty to think about, no doubt about it.

Lets consider the Dogs had players on Sunday playing with niggles.

If Hogo and Austin do get picked, and keeping in mind that if they are injured,it could all seriously back flip on them.

Do the Raiders consider Sunday's match and not risk it and bring in fresh players?

Because if Hogo and Austin do get banged up,and have to come off within 20-30 minutes, and it's lights out with two on the bench for the rest of the match.

I reckon Rickys got no choice but to bring in fresh cattle.

ACTPanthers is Ben Cummins!...You owe Jake Friend an apology.

At least you're not as hateful towards the Raiders as fellow Canberra resident Hutty1986 though. That guy's got issues.

If hodgson can play he plays because he can be covered by baptiste who would be playing hooker anyway if Hodgson was out. Only difference would be no cyldesdale to cover kurt but if hodgo can get worst case scenario 20 minutes then whats the difference right ?

Thats if his lateral movement is good enough to defend in the ruck.

Austin is a tricker proposition i agree because there wont be cover. If hodgson was fully fit he could go into the halves if austin broke down but alas no guarantee on that

GIO stadium should be filled by 25000 fans in Green doing the Viking Clap... it's going to be epic
hopefully no ground announcer mucking up the timing again
