I can't see us doing this again - even though i would bloody love to win it.

We were a bees dick away from being eliminated last year in the group round - and did get beaten by Melbourne in a pool game. I just think so much luck is involved in this game and we had it all last year.

don't rule out determination after having their nines title stripped brad arthur and the boys will be hellbent on getting that trophy back

half the other teams have pulled their best players & no doubt a few of them treat the nines as a glorified trial game and are more worried about avoiding injuries than winning or losing

Yeah I agree with you totally. Unfortunately, I don't think determination carries you far in this format. One missed tackle, one dropped ball and it could be all over. As I said in my previous post, a lot of this game is about luck.

But I think that means little in the 9s

I do think we have a stronger all round team than last year, except at Hooker. Would have been good to have Kaysa available.

Any team with Norman, Semi & French will score a barrel load of tries, just gotta stop the other team doing the same.
