As long as it's not *your* team, right?
Wrong. I want the Eels to relocate to Perth. The Western Eels. I'd still go to their ANZ games (once it is rectangularised).

his team plays at the SCGMore than likely because he wasn't at ANZ watching his own team
Last time I was at ANZ the security guards were complete Nazis about people wishing to move closer to the centre of the ground, despite swathes amd swathes of empty seats.
Maybe it has changed now, with bigger GA/ away fan areas that dont just make you sit in the corners, I dont know.
I won't be back, unless we make the GF.
call me Nostradamus http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/posts/12229009/he'll be praying that ratings weren't high enough for him so he can bitch about in the ratings topic
Roy masters saying today nrl rights would be 300m less if done today..
The ratings unfortunately support this view at the moment
SOO be very interesting to see with the new ratings system , hope it holds up
It is awful.
Perhaps it is the best attended but i would hazard it has also managed to get most of the best supported teams in the city as tenents.
This in turn means there's a hell of a lot of recpiprocal rights (free tickets) so saying it's the best attended has no bearing on it being a suitable stadium.
I don't know why people feel the need to apologise for it.
I can accept as a sport we need centralised stadiums and whilst sad it is where the sport is. But as a paying customer I'm going to air my feelings on ANZ. Its not up to scratch and I have big doubts it will be up to scratch for normal club games after the redevelopment.
This is an infinitely shit take.
ANZ is by no means perfect but it's not awful. It's also the best attended ground in Sydney if I'm not mistaken (on average, not aggregate)
True,Its the worst ground I've ever been too and won't go there unless its finals or free any more.
Why of all Sydney teams would you want the Eels to relocate? you are not serious are you?Wrong. I want the Eels to relocate to Perth. The Western Eels. I'd still go to their ANZ games (once it is rectangularised).
It's been raining on and off most of today including a few bursts of torrential rain (I live a few kms from the Raiders stadium), so considering that - I think the Raiders crowd is very commendable. Don't let the current sunshine deceive you.
True,
as Pommy I think was saying it's not a ground i'm happy to go to alone, unlike suburban grounds. Naturally it's going to have a higher drawing average having more higher drawing games.
...
Crowds have been pretty good this weekend, even Friday night could have been worse.
Well done Sharks good initiative, Canberra was pretty good and ours was ok despite our poor form and origin outs.

Seemed to be better marketed than most matches, I don't know I saw a lot of advertisements. I mean 12,000 extra people than their last game must have been enticed somehow. Maybe the dancers helped. What was the sharks initiative?

lolRaiders have dead set jumped 4k per game based on Viking clap alone..
Most other clubs invent a role called fan engagement manager who walk out on the ground and talk shit into a microphone
I really can't believe a team that played well into the finals in 2016, couldn't crack 15k at a home game on a Sunday afternoon. Weather is no excuse. Neverthis
it was f**king freezing
that breeze was brutal
14786 was a good turnout.
