2017 Crowd Watch

These are the two things where I think changes for the better could bring big crowds in:

1. On field gameplay. More action! This is what gets kids interested, from Play Station to Big Bash. Its all about excitement. Specifically more passing and risk taking and "players making plays". There are too many 5-10metre hit ups which are neutral and relatively boring conservative plays.

2. Game day experience. There should be competition between the clubs as to who has the best game day experience similar to the membership race.

How difficult would it be for the Nrl to hire a band that plays at half time of games in Sydney to get the fans pumped..

Every game I attend half time is so quite and boring.. Get some speakers turn up the volume and belt out some tunes. Make the fan want to come back next time.. easy but they won't do it cos they don't care.

I remember back during the super league war ARL games had bands playing and it was great.

Um because of all of the above we( I can't speak for all Sharks' fans) have learnt humility.Try having your club nearly closing its doors on 3 occasions, and being threatened with relocation by the head body.

I put money in collection buckets at streetlights , had a save the sharks sticker on my car for months, and you think I'm somehow overblowing myself.Didn;t know from one day til the next I'd have a club.Got bagged by supporters of a certain Southern club, we'd be flicked.

The simple fact is here I have no problem with Raiders' fans,I;'m responding to a well know Raiders sh*t stirrer, who gets return of serve. If the said gent ad made a statement,I wouldn't have responded.Simples.

If you think that (my view)applies to all Raider's fans ,you are wrong. So perhaps before bashing my head against a brick wall, check my motive. It 'is directed at one bod and one bod only.

while its a common held misconception , that one bod is also actually only returning serve too
I only stir
when im stirred first
just like you , you bag me .. I couldn't give a f**k

you bag my club
its on !!

That's the problem. As much as they plaster that stuff around people in Sydney don't give a shit. Some might shrug but generally we don't give a f**k about gws or afl. Come Liverpool way mate. Real gws land. No one gives a flying f**k. And no one gets their panties in a twist about EM either.

Its their ambition. AFL is just so much more ambitious than the NRL. They are, no shit, so far ahead of us that we should admit it and copy every single thing they do. NRL clubs like Parra (remember them last year run by a plumber), Knights, GC, Tigers are in charge of the NRL. Some how we need to get the AFL model where the Clubs don't have so much say.

Yeah. I agree. We need more corporate governance and nous at nrl clubs. Like Carlton, or West Coast and essendon.

perhaps you have, but when you point out that your club just flogged our club, it is bound to bring in more.

but there is something special between you and dave.

what do you think that represents ?
There is roughly 17-20,000 (maybe 4,000 of those awesome foursome) ticketed broncos members and 5,000 stadium members.

So lets blanket it at about 33,000 pax then minus the no shows, so maybe sitting at around 30k turn out. I think 30-33k will show, weather has been so shit this week which is a shame because ticket sales were flying and then stopped, could drop it to around 27k. Apparently most of the level 7 ends will be blocked off for temp screens as well, so technically capacity is at like 40k. No one allowed in 532, 531, 530, 511, 512 & 510 either. Will be one of those nights that the crowd looks good with people in numerous bays but we will think hmmm, should have been better.
