They really need to make those thursday kick offs a 7:00pm start, they finish too late. but otherwise it's probably good to play some one low drawing like the cowboys then, so you can draw decent crowds for higher drawing teams.

100%. I live about 10 minutes from the ground, and still didn't get home till about 1030 last night.
Hate to be 1 of those people who travel half an hour or so.
It's no wonder there was only 8500 people there.

That's been the problem with the introduction of the Friday 6pm match, pushing the Ch9 Friday night game kickoff back further and finishing at close to 10pm.

Game start times are a massive issue and it isn't channel 9 fault, they are just getting away with what the NRL allows them to.

FIFA has no issue ensuring the world cup final starts at the advertised time nor do the NFL have trouble enforcing reasonable start times with the likes of CBS and NBC.
