The disappointment of tonight will linger for quite some time but I am already f**king fired up for 2018.

I really keen to see how we respond next year. As we have failed to back up a good season really since 2000-2001.

2002, 2006, 2008 & 2010 we started the year as either favourites or 2nd and 3rd. After falling short the previous season.
And we were disappointing in all those seasons.

Its harder to stay at the top. And there's no doubt we will have teams hunting us next year. As i think we will be top 4 -5 favoured teams to win it next year.

Hopefully we don't do what canberra did this year and fall out altogether and back up.

Outmuscled and gave no room to our halves, even allowing for that, Corey was next to awful .

I reckon Corey has been awful the majority of the season. He seems to get away with being average by kicking so well in general play. But generally he has been pretty ordinary.

How much to cross the bridge? You guys are sadder than moths to a flame. Why stop at trolling? Perhaps you could find a homeless person and piss on them while they sleep. That would surely make you feel even better about yourself.

I aint no troll brother. Was there tonight, was there in 98 and 99 and 2005 and watched us get dumped out the finals, though did see Mannah and co. win one their back to back matts titles in 2003/04. Just a disappointed fan. This week there were GWS banners hanging from the lamp polls just off Macquarie st, no blue and gold flags in sight, im dirty on the leadership of my club.

Anyway Cowboys had simple gameplan and did it well, they were more committed and smarter.

We backed up a pretty good season this year. And I don't think we will be among the top 4-5 favourites for next year, not by most respected judges. We just don't spend enough money.

Forget about the previous eels!!

Defensive focused sides normally hold their form better then attacking sides like the Raiders.

We will go ok in 2018, got plenty of improvement and one article today suggested we are $1millon under the cap.

Anyhow BA is our coach, the guy is a freak!!

Fair enough mate. My apologies. There's just been a few trolls in here of late who love to kick people when they're down.

Thats cool, im usually in the fight club on another part of a forum giving it to GWS, fighting the good fight.

Like many of us i want to see us reach our potential as a club, we should be the biggest and the best club in sydney, god knows the NRL need it.

Just back from the game, don't know how it looked on tv , but they wee so much higher than us. As someone near me commented, their 7 is bigger than our forwards

Outmuscled and gave no room to our halves, even allowing for that, Corey was next to awful .

If they don't have a net out for some size and a winger, then we are kidding. A good season, but really need to ensure that we recruit positively so that this season can be a decent building block

As before , outcoached on the night and the bench selection was critical and didn't work out , would like that explained as it didn't look right from the get go when announced

BA should acknowledge the crowd and in some way let them know they were let down in such a crucial game when they turned out for to,support the team

I was back from the game an hour ago give or take.
I can accept we lost tonight. Shit happens .
We were outclassed by a better team on the night. It was a knock out semi-final so we are gone.
We didn't play any where near to our potential.
It was really frustrating to watch.
I was really proud that we could get 41000 to a game like this.
We have a massive amount of potential to be the biggest club in the NRL. Just look at last weeks Sydney crowds. They were just embarrassing.
Tonight was enormous.
However........the most disappointing thing for me was seeing thousands (I'm not joking) of fans walking out before full time.
The Eels have made us proud this season.
How many fans picked us as top 4 material? Mmmm, not many I suspect.
I certainly didn't.
I was just saddened to see so many (obviously bandwagon) fans walking out on the team, before full time when seriously, they should have been staying there, win or lose, and applauding them for a great season.........a season which I think all expectations were exceeded.
I really hate that type of mindset and culture.
The team deserved a standing ovation after the game.
They got nothing.
As fans of our team, we should be ashamed.

You've been alive how long, and that's the shit you come up with? Brad Arthur doesn't set the betting odds.

We weren't out coached, we were beaten by a better team.

When they do the draw next year.

The cowboys and Newcastle should be banned from playing us at ANZ. Both teams we have nightmares against when playing them there.

Play the home game against the Knights in Darwin.

Well the 41000 certainly saved the NRL from another week of embrassing low crowd related stories.

Yep that hurt me too seeing fans in front of me walk out with 10 to go. Gives us fans who stay to the end a bad rap.

In saying that the 15,000 who walked out early are probably the ones who only come out when we get in the finals.
