Take the emotion out of tonight. And its been a positive season with a couple of steps forward.

Getting ourselves into the top 4 was a great achievement. Considering we have no current players in any rep teams.

I think with an off season to improve the combination of moses and norman will do wonders. Though i will say corey does need to step it back up i feel.

He has been in cruise control in the back half of the year.

Unfortunately tonight we just showed no patience once we fell behind we panicked and got frustrated.

To win a comp you really need to have a full strength squad. And its hard when you lose your 2 fullbacks. In important positons

Will smith has done a great job but he is no gutho or bevan who have that x factor.

Well said mate. It is going to be hard to separate the emotion of tonight's loss given how we really didn't finish on our terms but BA and the boys put together a really great season when everything is considered.

We have some clear holes in the roster to fill. Replacing Semi, be it permanently or temporarily, is going to be important while reloading the depth and composition of our forward pack for these sort of big games will also be crucial.

Even so we have taken huge, HUGE steps forwards this year. Our first real spine since the 1980s, a 16-8 regular season record with multiple games that we threw away and a roster from top to bottom that will be hungry to right their own wrongs from this year.

The disappointment of tonight will linger for quite some time but I am already f**king fired up for 2018.

We hold the ball, and we probably win!!
12 errors aren't a lot. And most of them came when we were chasing points. We obviously could've made fewer, but we've made more in games this year and won.

Though we did only make four errors when we put 50 on the Broncos in Brisbane.

It was a good year, but we still choked in this game. We should have won that. We in the end just ran out of class players through injury and had to play journeyman types who will never be consistent enough to win the big games or do something special to turn a game like Gutherson and French can do.

I thought Norman was very disappointing tonight. He could have stepped up and just seemed to be coasting. We will miss Semi severely. I never want to see Will Smith in the fullback jumper again. He is way too light and weak which is why he consistently gets ragdolled.

You need class and a dose of luck to win a comp and unfortunately, we ran out of both.
Pretty much spot on. Agree on all points.

That was very poor.

Looks like Parra had the gameplan of a A-grade pub team and the effort to match For the fans to come out and watch that it is more than disappointing.

Sad, when a mannah is the lauded captain of team two games from the gf. The depth and quality of the playing stock in the NRL has gone backwards

We really shouldn't undersell the Cowboys either. JT and Scott are huge losses without a doubt but they won the 2015 Grand Final with Thurston playing a bludger. They knew how to push the limits of the ref's tolerance in a final and we didn't. They took our first half punches and rolled with them because they had the experience in big games.

I watched. Hayne was the whole reason I watched from 11 through 14. It was frustrating that he couldn't do it on his own but if you look back at the squads, you can see what shit he was trying to shovel.
Well after getting rid of him we were able to afford a team good enough for the top eight. Meanwhile Hayne's side finished in the bottom half of the comp, as usual.

I'm just hoping we don't flirt with a potential comeback to right the wrongs and all that shit.

How much to cross the bridge? You guys are sadder than moths to a flame. Why stop at trolling? Perhaps you could find a homeless person and piss on them while they sleep. That would surely make you feel even better about yourself.

Just back from the game, don't know how it looked on tv , but they wee so much higher than us. As someone near me commented, their 7 is bigger than our forwards

Outmuscled and gave no room to our halves, even allowing for that, Corey was next to awful .

If they don't have a net out for some size and a winger, then we are kidding. A good season, but really need to ensure that we recruit positively so that this season can be a decent building block

As before , outcoached on the night and the bench selection was critical and didn't work out , would like that explained as it didn't look right from the get go when announced

BA should acknowledge the crowd and in some way let them know they were let down in such a crucial game when they turned out for to,support the team
