I can't be stuffed reading all this, did Klemmer get sighted for his coward shot when he dropped his elbow at full force into the back of a Queenslanders neck towards the end of the first half?

Or Fifita for his ridiculously obvious high shot on gillett?

Obviously nsw weren't going to get penalised, as it wasn't in the pre determined script, but do the match review committee just ignore it too?

lmao.....

It's not good though, it changed the game. NSW worked out at about the 20th minute mark that they could do absolutely anything and wouldn't get punished. The refs thought they were opening the game up, but in reality they just ruined it because NSW were only ever back 7 or 8 meters prior to each of their dirty shots.

Now it's fair to point out that NSW were the better team, but the refs made it a farce

lmfao...

Canberra were quite popular in QLD before the Broncos came around. Meninga, Walters, Belcher, Wayne Bennetts involvement in the club in 87 all probably helped. And the fact the club wasn't technically a NSW team as well.

Had a glance through it this morning in HJs. Brought the expected lols.

It's a conspiracy?

They have to win Game 2 or Origin as a concept is in jeopardy?

NSW might have won the game but Qlders are still better people in every way, and more passionate? And something something beaches, climate and the last true-blue Aussies left in this country?

Am I getting warm?

Most of those were after the Broncos joined the comp though. Prior to 88 they were like the Melbourne Storm - farming the best from Queensland

Is that why you rated both he and Pearce a 6 in the other thread?

you're right, when you put it that way cronk deserves a 5 or less.

pearce sets up the first try finishes the 2nd, finds grass repeatedly off his 40, put the ratings aside, there's one certainty, pearce outplayed cronk clearly

Side note, f**k the coverage here in Melbourne. Cut straight to the stupid
AFL late night footy show. Disrespectful
It stinks, doesn't it.

Just wondering how much coverage the match got in the printed media....probably two paragraphs with the main story on the back page about how some AFL "star" broke his little toenail kicking the neighbour's cat.

Hang on what about the high tackles on Fafita both from McGuire, the spear tackle on Pearce by Cameron Smith seem to forgotten about those
