It looks like a nothing pass from Pearce who hasn't beat anyone to Fifita who has about 3 or 4 defenders in front of him?

haha you'd do anything to not give him the credit he deserves, he's taken service from peats at speed to draw defender out of line and timed an inside ball against the staggered line he created whilst options exist outside. stick to watching block plays champ

Don't worry
I had a Dragons fan try and tell me woods had a big hand in Maloney's try.

So what will Qld say if nsw win game 2 and Pearce doesn't get taken out?

Most of the Pearce hate is coming from NSW fans lol, I don't think it matters who you had in the halves last night, we were smashed from pillar to post in the forwards

Yep
Probably

Which is strange because his old man was pretty well liked by most fans of all clubs.

I reckon it'll be very close next game
Dugan and tedescos try savers plus Fifitas try made the score look a lot more one sided.

Pearce will be fine if he wins a series and does something to contribute as a part of that. He rightfully has a reputation and can only wipe it with multiple good performances.

haha "first engagement of the line" = "try assist"? Where do you come up with this crap?

A try assist is awarded to the person who did the most work in order to score the try.

If you were being generous you could say, Pearce set up the try assist.

But even Albert Whatshisface wouldn't even go that far.

You might want to go back and find where I typed the words try assist?

It was a borderline first line break assist albeit a broken line but a setup nonetheless.

Give credit where it's due otherwise you just look like another hating lunatic

The unsettling thing is that we didn't get worse when he went off and he's our halfback.

I thought setting up a try = try assist.

But you reckon setting up a try = a "borderline first line break assist"?

If Pearce set up that try, what did Fifita do?

Pearce was okay. A 5.5 out of 10.

He still ran around like a headless chook with no composure at times.

We scored more points without him.

You mean apart from the final 20 when QLD dominated field position and if not for 3 or 4 try saving tackles could have been right back in the game?
That's the thing though. It used to be qld defending like that, refusing to concede.

Last night, they just couldn't. The only thing that got them on the board was a pinpoint kick from cronk, along with Pearce's terrible short kicking game down the other end.
