both him and klemmer offered more impact than woods & fifita

Klemmer was immense. I thought Woods was pretty good in his first stint which laid the platform for those tries later in the half.

Fifita went missing the entire game, nowhere to be seen

Woods was tanked in his second stint

Klemmer was really good last night. made an extra few metres every time he hit the defensive line.

NSW in game one and the first half didn't let adversity phase them, they got on with their own job. They went in to panic mode in the second half and it looked a lot more like the last decade of origin.

Pearce has been rubbish in the past but this honestly feels like he had the target on him pre-game, and once NSW lost he was the person to target. Others were more to blame.

Felt like there was less space laast night, Fifita was crowded every carry.

The refereeing wasn't too bad, excpet for the Boyd not getting penalised for tackling Dugan when he was chasing a kick. That was disgraceful and is a boderline sin binning offence. The rest is just the same as club footy, they've stopped penalising blockers a long time ago.

That Qld spine is still so good. Slater adds another dimension to Qlds attack.

I think NSW can stick with the same squad. The personel weren't the issue, it was the second half mentality. But fix that and they will go well.

Jackson wasn't MOTM, but he was very good in the first half and OK in the second. I don't think there was a stand out player, just high quality across the park

Please...

Once again QLD were dominated in the middle. And if the game was officiated the same way it was in Origin 1 then it would have been a hefty win to NSW.

It was their 'unshakeable spirit' and mateship that got them home this time.

Sounds and smells like sour grapes.
What amazes me is that they forget to mention the one's they got away with. Slater was taken out off the ball when they chipped ahead and Gillett was smashed off the ball. They throw forward passes and the commentators don't care. I couldn't really care less that they melt over the ref. At least quite a few Blues supporters on here see it for what it is. That is the fact that NSW blew it and Pearce is a magician's rabbit. For what it's worth, I still expect NSW to win the series.

I was waiting for someone to mention it, it blatant too but apparently didn't even warrant a check and conveniently the commentators were silent too.
But it wouldn't be Origin if NSW wasn't complaining about the officiating.

saying referees cost the blues the game is utter crap.

qld were clever in the second half when they needed to be.
if holding down in the tackle won them the game, stiff sh*t. the blues have only themselves to blame.

their forwards were appalling in the second half & that lost them the game.
as crap as pearceoff was, his forwards let the team down because they stopped winning the yardage game that they won in game 1 & the first half of last night. instead they tried to protect a lead.

they should have iced that game & have only themselves to blame.
good teams beat bad decisions.

Maloney seemed intent on giving away dumb penalties last night, that late hit on Gillett off the ball was really stupid and should've been pinged

Having Slept on it i'm even more pissed off than i was last night..

Joey is spot on that was the dumbest half of football i can remember seeing in my 20+ years of watching rugby league

Qld forwards outside of Napa were completely blown off the park and we just kept gifting them meters via mistakes and silly penalties.

off the top of my head from the second half

Peace bad pass that got toed through by Hayne and led to a Qld Penalty (still not sure what that was for and not sure if can stomach the replay so if someone can fill me in)

Hayne Bad Pass to Morris WTF

Peace Bad pass to Hayne

Wade Graham Strip. this was a killer we had finally completed a set after turning away qld 2-3 times and we go and give away a stupid penalty. regardless of weather it was a loose carry or not why dare the ref to blow it?

Wade Graham Running out of the Line for no f**king reason to miss the tackle on McGuire. Qld had nothing going here and that try really came from nothing, just another stupid error.
Pearce bomb going long and gifting another 7 tackle set. although this was a heads up play by Slater and definitely wasn't the worst thing we did.

Maloney and Pearce not directing more traffic at Thurston who was clearly busted

Not running Friz at Thurston in the second half and moving him to the middle.. master stroke by super coach Daley there.

Bird dropped kick. A tough one but another mistake that ended up costing us the game.

Going away from everything that worked so well in the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half.

There now i feel a little better.

i think the good news is that Qld still cant hold our pack which gives us a good shot at the decider.

Rabs: NSW will hold on for 12 minutes to win their 2nd series in 12 years.

How about replaying this for the game 3 pre-game show

The $ecider.

Maybe Sportsbet should have a market for who will chair Thursto off the field? Surely Cam Smith will be one. Though Slater can't but the other because he is too short. I'll go C.Smith and Chambers.
