A match we should win.

Only problem is these are the matches we find a way to lose in when we are favourites.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the Roosters get this one.

I pick souths they don't have any origin caliber players do they?
We won't be missing anyone to origin.......

As I said though the games we are favourites in and meant to win are generally the games we play shit in!!!!

I wouldn't count out the Roosters here. Friend will lead them well with his 60-70 tackles.

Fun fact:

Souths haven't beaten a top 8 side since round 2

Even missing 5 players I think easts will still be too good.

Wary of the bounce back factor. Even missing their origin players the Roosters are too well drilled to play that badly 2 weeks in a row.

Has anyone noticed the change in the way Souths are approaching games recently?
They've stopped the repeated block plays and are playing what's in front of them
The result is a great improvement in their performances and I can see this trend continuing.

Souths have unearthed a real gem in Angus Crichton - he runs intelligent lines, is really quick as well as strong and supports his team mates really well. If he's there for an offload he can break through the line and cause havoc for defences. His partnership with Sam Burgess is impressive indeed,

With the Roosters poor performances against the Storm and Sharks and missing four players to Origin, I think Souths will do this easily.

I think we will see a much improved performance by the roosters this week. Whether they have the quality to take the opportunities given to them is a different story.

To be blatantly honest, Fergo won't be missed and Napa has been average this year. If SST is still not fit, he is a bigger omission than those two TBH.

Last week they looked like the Souths of 2014. Which does not make me happy.

I'm just glad we're not trotting out a 3/4 line of Moceidreke, Talakai, Jennings and Goodwin like last time we played the Roosters. That alone should make the game more competitive than last time.

I can see Sam Burgess spending a bit of time running at Mitchell.

If we can play like we did Sunday it'll be a close one, but we've rarely put together consecutive good performances this year.

With players missing and the fact that Souths grow a leg whenever they play us can only mean we're gonna get done. Our defence on the fringes is also rubbish. f**k it. Easts by 10
