Warriors put together one (two if you count when Luke was held up) nice passage of play. It was a good period for them, they made good metres, put in a good kick, got the repeat set, ran hard, got momentum and scored.
But over 80 minutes they did not threaten anywhere near enough.
Thompson had some good moments before he went off. Warriors outside backs made good ground early in sets, especially in the first 60 minutes. Other than that, the Warriors were pretty clunky.
Sharks did what they've done most the year, which is nothing fancy but enough. Sharks fans are frustrated at how poor we look when we win by 14. Many teams would love to get to 30 points by the end of the season, let alone round 21, so I guess we can't be too upset.
Pleased with Brown (before he also went off) and Townsend, thought they controlled the game pretty well in the absence of Maloney, and Graham stepped up when Brown went off.
Sharks still need plenty of work around the timing and options around the ruck.
