Griffin is as uninspiring bore
This would be a valid criticism if he was a morning TV anchor, but for an NRL coach the criterion is winning percentage. Of 17 coaches over 51 years, Griffin (55%) is third behind Ron Willey (66%), who was sacked after taking the club to its most successful season ever at that time, and Phil Gould (56%) who walked when things got tough, taking our best player with him. Griffin is in a position to pass Gould this season but of course Gould won a premiership, as did John Lang (52%).

The big question is can we do what other sides haven't and handle the pressure with a chance to move into the top 8 with 4 rounds to go? The Tigers form isn't too bad and with some key players missing for us and the unknown impact of the Cleary v Cleary factor a scare is more than possible and even an upset against us. But if we are serious about making the 8 we simply have to win regardless of any of that. Our remaining games after this are against much higher ranked sides so if we drop this one, it's hard to see us winning enough of these others to play finals.

Any win since the Souths disaster has been a bonus. I'm already looking to next year. A Penrith win today is possible, but I just don't think we're good enough to do much in the finals.
I'll stick my neck out and say It'll be close or a blowout either way.

Waqa on naquima is a mismatch of epic proportions, the fact he doesn't have Moylan feeding him is the only thing that might stop him scoring a hat trick

Dumb play by Lawrence, getting the Panthers out of trouble when they would've been trapped in goal.
