hahahahahaha
cool story
he lunges at the ball carrier , the arm carrying the ball is where he makes contact
it comes free
thats a knock on

learn something about our game before commenting on it , because its obvious you know very little : )

Watch the replay you dunce, you can clearly see his hand directly on the ball as it's coming free. That isn't even a matter of opinion.

yeah
some people are trolling
some are serious which is a worry , there are people that have absolutely no idea about the game

All these professional rugby league players commentating saying it was a try have no idea ay, yeah okay.

Tonga won? Pretty sure I have just seen an advertisement for Australia v England in the World Cup final next week
Yeah, they probably had one prepared for a Tongan victory also, unless.... channel 7 and the refs are planning world domination
Where's toovey?
"There's got to be an investigation!"

Happy for the ref to make a call there for the last play if he felt he got a good look at it. It was a judgement call and he made a judgement on it. Had it gone upstairs he would've just been deferring to someone else's opinion on it, and I don't see why the video ref's judgement should be more important than the ref's if the ref felt he could make a call on it.

the guys refereed over 300 NRL games & probably made the same call 300 times
exactly the same way as he did tonight to not one blinked eye
why
because its the correct call

Like I said last week, England comfortably.

Graham, Burgess, Whitehead etc don't care about bash and barge all game long. They'll eat it up no problem.

Australia rightfully favourites next week but England is probably the only team who could hold Australia to 20 or less. Not sure how much points they got in them though.
Comfortably hey?

How many players do you know that tackle solely by grabbing at the ball?

plenty if they're timing is out or if they're beaten
whitehead is to the side of fifita & behind him.. hes beaten.. he lunges desperatly hitting the ball carrying arm dislodging the ball

aint no strip
not a chance

There is no need for this forum to degenerate into a primary school argument.

It doesn't matter if you're an English or Tongan fan, we can all agree the decision should have gone upstairs.

What the video ref would have ruled .... We'll never know.

So he was beaten, and lunges for the ball... but wasn’t playing at it.

Sounds legit

nope
lunges for the ball carrier , happens to get to him
hes making a desperate tackle
not a strip

it aint hard
but it wouldn't be for people who know something about the game

Not like all those current and ex players who are calling the decision wrong. They all know nothing compared to mighty internet guy.
