Given that, i wonder what the appetite will be like to turn up for the 1st match especially since there is a 45 minute break between games.

Hopefully they do turn up otherwise it might look awful.

Will definitely be smaller, but I know if I paid for 2 games for the price of 1 I’d definitely wanna be in attendance for both

And the warriors game tonight

Would have got 35k + for both games combined

I think people are saying we only get an average of 12800 each for the 2 games there .. at best

so its not a venue big enough for a double header
if Auckland is to host a DH , it has to be at the 50,000 seat Eden Park
it would have got over 40,000 today there

these 2 games split under their present form
Tigers V Storm at Leichardt ... 15 to 18,000
& the Warriors would have cracked 20,000 as well by themselves

so we've duded ourselves out of fans any way you look at it

Like sure, could have been more but whatever. Have you seen the state of New Zealand Rugby League in the past 12 months? It’s the optics and image of a sold out stadium for a game of rugby league in a Union dominated nation.
