3k Tix left for double header apparently

RL must be buzzing in NZ atm and it’s great to see

Most of them would be warriors fans you’d think

The Bears going to Gosford is a terrible idea. No one will support them up here. I haven't met a bears fan in my 10 years here and I see hundreds of people a day at work. Everyone has a team already.

Much better to play games here throughout the year and offer special membership for existing clubs and maybe have travel included in their tickets.

We have enough teams here. I don't want any kicked out but expansion should come from outside NSW. We can grow NSW rugby league with proper promotion.

But, but implosion...

If we don't have a team in every city, town and suburb in NSW AFL and RU will take over

If you seriously think the NSW competition is a drawcard think again! Footy fans and the general public do not relate to 2nd rate comps. Some games will have an attraction with a good marketing angle. But they will never be a substitute for top-flight NRL competition. It just doesn't win in the local pub argument test when talking footy. Simple as that. But some of you think it will magically fill in the void created by the dilution of top flight rugby-league in the three regions we are discussing.

It's settled then! Every post code in NSW gets an NRL team so there are no voids for us to implode into. Give Sydney Harbour a team also, although the pitch might be a bit water logged and might dillute the team too much

Given that, i wonder what the appetite will be like to turn up for the 1st match especially since there is a 45 minute break between games.

Hopefully they do turn up otherwise it might look awful.

More security than fans here at Shark Park. 6pm game needs to go

Only way 6pm game works is if we bring in a couple more NZ teams and give them 8pm Friday night so would be 6pm here. Auckland Bears, Wellington Roosters.

Dragons/souths should of sold out, top of the table team against a sydney team you think both set of fans would of sold out the suburban ground but didn't so what the excuses this time as top of the table teams got none.

Souths fans probably weren’t going to pay for a ticket that they were supposed to get for free in their membership but st George went back on at short notice.
Souths did agree to buy tickets for members if you called up by Tuesday but people will have forgotten or not checked their email until late.

Considering we haven’t been setting the crowd numbers on fire in NQ the last few years, probably best to keep your stones in your own glass house.....

Your hard to please! They can’t get many more than that in the ground comfortably.

The toilets, canteen, and car parking can only cope with about 16k max. It’s best not to comment unless you know the ground well..

I'm suggesting ticket prices!? Noticed seated areas were the issue for numbers!

The dragons crowd couldn't get much bigger and looked fantastic on TV. That's the drawback of suburban crowds though, they really cap your peak crowds but still bottom out crowd wise when doing bad.

Still I think crowds like that are ok, places like Brookvale are the bigger issue.

Big crowd between 2 Sydney clubs.

hopefully for the next tv deal starting in 2023 the groundswell of disapproval for these hideous kickoff time slots we're subjected to will see them go.
one Friday night game ( kicking off at 7.30pm sharp) , & weekends, that's it , with the only exception being public holidays , Perth should have a team by then possibly giving us an option of a late live Friday game kicking off at 9.30pm our time occasionally
games could start as early as 2pm in NZ ( 12pm our time ) on Sat or Sun & games could start as late as 7.30pm in Perth (9.30 our time )

so there'll be plenty of time to slot games in , including an extra one if we go to 18 teams.
