Bulldogs vs roosters 11k
Warriors vs dragons 20k
Brisbane vs Melbourne 40k
Souths vs Raiders 16k
Tigers vs Knights 11k
Cowboys vs Titans 14k
Eels vs Manly 14k
Sharks vs Panthers 16k

Should get around 140k for the round
And average well above 15k.

Much as I'd like to see 16K at the Shark's game, based on results and Panther's fans travelling,14K max IMO. Although with school holidays who knows these days.

Yeah. Spose so. Just thought a few dudes were taking cheap shots a bit too far. Thought I'd fire a few shots myself. Just felt like it. Bullies should not get their way all the time!?

Mate, I've had a few cracks at you as well - I think you just have to remember that we are on a forum and it is all a bit of fun. I'm happy to cop it on the chin if I cop a bit of shit on here too. It's all just banter that our game is famous for. Don't take it too seriously.

Updated the crowd stats thread with YTD tracking per round at http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/threads/2018-draw-results-crowd-stats.466998/

Currently after Round 6
2018: 759,811 / Average: 15,829
2017: 697,262 / Average: 14,526
2016 - 783,083 / Average: 16,314

As has been mentioned, Round 7 in 2017 was Easter which saw a big jump in the aggregate and average. To stay ahead of last year's aggregate and average after Round 7, this round needs at least 111,500 total to turn up. My somewhat conservative (IMO) estimates for this round have about 130k turning up so we should still be tracking ahead of last year.

Uses figures from afltables for those interested. For individual crowds per game go to http://bit.ly/2018NRLDraw

Warriors seem on track for a solid 17,000 - 18,000 crowd. Shame that they lost on the weekend, otherwise I really think the whole 'Undefeated Teams' hype would have carried to a near sell out. Still a phenomenal increase in their crowds given that they didn't have an attendance above 14,000 last year.

Being ahead of last year isn't overly impressive. Last year the early part of the season was heavily impacted by weather and ended up being an awful year crowd wise.

A win would've helped but it's still a top of the table clash against a team who usually draws well everywhere. Hopefully the crowd still delivers.

Lets not forget the Broncos have played 2 home game so far in 2018. So to be in front with that in mind, we are doing okay.

By rnd 7 2017 the Broncos had played 4 home games.

The early part of this year was hardly weather friendly.A cyclone near Nth Queensland preventing decent numbers coming to a Cow's game.40 degree heat in Sydney for a few games, including one at Manly.Rain at a Rooster's game which bucketed down for a period. An Eels side(with one of teh largest fan bases) playing like busteds. Two titan's games in the bush.
Think we are doping Ok so far.

Form of any team is a poor excuse. Last year we had a tigers and Newcastle team that were writtten off from week 1. Every single year you'll have teams doing shit. That isn't unique to 2018.

As for the weather I don't feel like pushing the point. I do find it annoying after reading for months last year that crowds were mainly poor because of the freak once in a lifetime poor weather in Sydney.

The occasional 40 degree day and rain game to start the season is expected. That's going to happen every year. If anything that's only going to get more common.

Fair call. However the first 7 weeks of last season was significantly impacted by inclement weather. Not so much this season.

Flipping through Big League and this is what they have in the crowd stats section.

It's 76,037 more than the figure I have, but even if double headers were counted twice we'd be 89,530 higher, not 76k.

Confused af

If anything, the opposite. Unseasonably warm in Sydney and Melbourne

Of course form affects crowds year on year. And playing derbies on a Thursday night affects crowds
40degree heat to start a game is not expected. That is bollocks.
Cyclonic conditions cup North affect crowds.
To the extent of the Eels(with the biggest Sydney fan base) getting 10,000 to a games is a rarity.
Crowds are up anyway.
