Do you genuinely think you're adding anything new to the discussion? Everyone here knows this and has been saying similar for ages. It's just painful to read again and again. We know.

Funnily enough the proactive marketing still isn't happening! Not that it would bother you from being a bit like a bully? Constructive comment aND not crap comment is more my go. I'd say that is not what you are following given your negativity.

I am hoping you are not an English teacher! Your grammar is imploding!

Those Broncos ticket prices are exhorbitant ! That's just crazy and un- Australian! Price gouging looks like a real issue for the NRL clubs. It's diabolical. The clubs can make money other ways without detrimentally affecting attendance figures!

Yes but the Broncs average 30k a game. The QLD Reds average about 10 - 12k a game these days and you can get Reds tickets as cheap as $16. So lowering the price doesn't automatically fill seats. The Broncs games are an event in Brisbane, the Reds games are not. That is the message for all sports - if you make your game an event, people will go.

Agree the promotion and marketing aspect is important. However their is a difference in product (sport). One code is like watching paint dry (union) and the other has much more action (rugby league ).That does matter.

I've attempted to understand this and it's incredible you're trying to paint me as negative when you've said nothing positive in this thread at all lately.

? My whole stance is positive and proactive. That's an interpretation issue with yourself. Not me. Remedy of mistakes (Which their are plenty of in RL) and positive discourse is what I'm all about. I'm about addressing unfairness and positive discourse throughout my comments. I do have to fend for myself when unfairly targeted. So that's what I do. That's reasonable?

Fixed it for you ;)

Sadly the weakening of the code in the very area we are discussing is happening and you still ridicule this remedy of a clear mistake done decades ago. The facts are there and the solution is possible with an added bonus (Central Coast &derbies) to boot. But that's not going to cut it with some in this forum. Dissappointing for the code but true.

You claim it's positive, but every post you make about crowds talks them down. Even when the consensus acknowledges something positive, you manage to find a reason to talk it down.

Talking positively about the game and its existing strengths is what will endear it to others, not constantly bitching and moaning about what's wrong. What you offer to the discussion currently is nothing new or interesting about the current issues which do hold the game back.

Gee the bulldogs have got a bludger of a draw crowd wise to start the year. They’ve played just the two home games (excluding Perth) in unfriendly time slots.
