that's exactly what you said
your moronic mono themed ranting about crowds & how to improve them is constantly exposed as simplistic crap that in reality won't work
yet you continue to peddle it , you're wrong , accept it.

No its not exactly what I've stated you liar! Feeling good trying to be a bully ?! Quite amazing your incessant rants!

Figures that even when you post something that appears like it could actually be true a quick search just proves that all you do is spout utter rubbish.

Storm vs Broncos - Cat 1 $65, family of four $160. General admission $27, family of 4 $61

Swans vs Dockers - Cat 1 $80, family of four $172. General admission $33, family of 4 $69

Rabbitohs vs Dragons - Diamond reserve (Cat 1 equiv/most expensive available) $65, no family option. General admission $20, family of 4 $40 (can also get adult +4 junior tickets for $20)

Carlton vs Essendon - Best tickets sold out so can't see the price but next tier is $85 with family of 4 $170. General admission $25, family of 4 $50

If you read my post I have posted the Souths v Saints ticket prices accurately. But don't let this get in the way of your detail. Pretty sure the AFL give free entry to kids and the union charged $15 for entry at Suncorp last week. THAT'S WHAT I've informed? Those ticket prices have occurred. But well done on your deceptive stance. It does do a great decoy on the ticket offers I've mentioned. Which are very relevant in trying to gain bigger crowds. Or are you going to deny there is no free entry for kids to AFL games and the $15 entry to the union did not occur?!

So what should the ticket prices have been and what were they in reality?
Let’s calculate if it would have been a good buisness decision for the dragons

I'm thinking that most NRL games should be $20 entry and $30 for reserved seated tickets. There was over 800 vacant seats. On top of the vacant seats I'm pretty sure that if a $20 GA was used more fans (greater disposable money)would buy supporter gear and spend on catering. However you doubt this so this is where we differ.

But what were the prices? You have only told half the story.

Stallion logic: prices are too high, I don’t know what they were but they were too high!!!!!!

Ok. Mr Devils advocate. I know the Knights charge $29 GA. And the seats in the stand are at least $39. At Brookvale the GA charge is over $30. The only ground in Sydney that is reasonable in ticket prices is the Olympic Stadium and the entry is $20 GA , $40 for a family of four BDO $3 pies. Given good weather this coming weekend a genuinely big crowd should turn up to this stadium with such pricing for Saints v Souths. Or don't you think this logic has merit? Do you think they will turn up with higher ticket prices?

It’s not playing devils advocate to ask you to back up your argument. What other clubs charge is not relevant to your argument.

But as an opinion I do not think NRL tickets are expensive. I think it’s a straight up myth that they are.
I think there’s too many clubs in Sydney which results in an oversupply of tickets.

That's starting from a very low base and we've had far better weather this year.

That's also taking into account the Titans playing games in the bush, rather than CBus.And the biggest supported club the Eels at the a*se end of the comp.
Fine weather is a factor no doubt, but we also had a heatwave weekend earlier on 40 degrees. The Cowboys lost a decent bit of support when further north they had torrential rain ,so many fans couldn't get to Townsville.
Manly's problems haven't helped, 5,000 plus to a game is bleeding awful.
So any increase is a at least a plus.
If we were down 5% ,we'd have real problems.

Still believe the 6pm Friday slot is crippling crowds, with the exception of Newcastle.

Wow 2of 8 games with reasonable crowds. That means 75%didnt! But yeh ticket prices must be fine because a week long hyped game featuring the top two teams in the best time slot on a sunny day got a reasonable turn out, but not sold out despite a smallish capacity.

Ticket prices are just one amongst a number of crowd deterrants, and when you’ve got a half arsed fanbase you don’t Need any deterrants
You're an absolute tool.

Two crowds over 20k, one just short of it (and you're complaining that some 50-60 tickets weren't sold lol), plus 17k in Auckland and a full Bathurst.

By measure that's five "reasonable crowds". And while you could label Broncos-Dogs disappointing, reality says Thursday night sucks but 22k is still in the top group of crowds for the round.

Meanwhile you're still focusing on the absolute negatives and downplaying whatever you can to make sure you paint the game as badly as you can.

It’s not like Newcastle has the massive traffic congestion of Sydney.
Nor do they have the distance etc to get to the joint.
Add to that the entire town are pretty much knights supporters.
That’s a population 50k short of half a million people.

Top spot by the way.
I’d love to live there.
