To be fair this is wrong. The NRL section on Big footy has grown immensely and it is solely made up of AFL fans that also follow NRL having normal NRL discussion. NOT ONCE has an AFL fan gone on there and trolled NRL.

Th AFL section here is just a platform for the haters to troll nothing more. Shouldn't even be on here.

The hate between the codes comes from NRL fans towards AFL not the other way around. Some NRL fans love to hate on AFL...period.. thus the nicknames etc and never ending trolling.

Back to MR M..I see your point about the time keeping being a f**k up... but this seriously isn't a reason why crowds will drop in Melboune. As if people are gona say I'm not going to the game because of that etc.... half of them wouldn't even know about it.
I'm worried about Melbourne crowds as soon as Storm fall off the perch... e.g when Smith retires.

AFL crowds are pretty shit atm too.. Look at GWS..fkn basket case..given heaps of money and first round draft picks...fkn failure
gws shit crowds..boring as bat shit..gold coast...shit/failure same... carlton..north melbourne...melbourne etc etc..all shit boring,shit crowds... snore fest... If they were smart they would cut half of these teams. Try watching 2 minutes of a gws game..lol...

I'll be the first to admit that Storm supporters can be one-eyed and that we don't always understand some of the more obscure rules of the game. BUT if we've already got supporters thinking that we got persecuted and then the NRL is seen making an obvious mistake in regards to the timekeeping it just supports their belief that the 'Storm got screwed by the NRL'.

It's the second week in a row when many Storm supporters feel like it's 'Storm vs the NRL' after Cameron Smith's suspension last week. Whether it's an accurate presentation of the NRL or not, it's how Storm supporters feel which will impact how many people go to the upcoming games.

Not trying to be a dick, but this is a Dragons ‘home’ game yeah? why not play this in wollongong and encourage Raiders fan to try and come along and get a somewhat ‘local’ rivalry going and take a different game say against either GC or NQ to the country?
