Mister Victorian MCG crowd expert alert

How many of your 90,000 posts are actually useful and how many are just displaying your fear and hatred of all things Victorian and the AFL?

I didn't realise we still lived in a world where using words like 'genius' or associations with it were still socially acceptable?? Is the NRL still waiting for you to join us in 2018??

Well considering I’m attending my 3rd Origin game in Melbourne tonight (Etihad in 2012, MCG in 2015 & tonight) you think I’d probably want to see it succeed. I’m part of the small ‘rusted on’ NRL fan base in Melbourne despite being born in Victoria. I’ve attended 90% of NRL games in the past decade (only really miss when it clashes with Richmond games or if it’s a Friday 6pm game). So maybe you need to reconsider your continual comparison of me to someone with a mental difficulty just because I think differently than you.

My points aren’t based off of any NRL figures, but off the MCG’s own ground predicated figure. The MCG always publishes it on their website the week of an event— tonight’s crowd is predicted to be 80k according to the MCG.

They also predicted last Saturday night (Dreamtime at the G) to be 86,000 and it ended up with just on 80k.

My points have nothing to do with my knowledge of NRL or Origin, but based off the patterns and knowledge I have about a ground that I attend on average 15-20 times a year. As a Richmond/AFL supporter, 5+ of those occasions are for crowds of a similar size.

Either they have sold the tickets for the stadium in a really unconventional manner (selling out level 4 before level 4) or I think personally they have inflated the crowd.

I’d love to be wrong, but that’s just what I’ve noticed as someone who knows the MCG.

Disinterested third party is a great example why the NRL shouldn't have an Origin weekend in future.

This guy is that bored he has to bring up content from 50 pages ago. Was last week that boring for you??
Tell us again Mister Genius how the MCG won't get 80k for Origin and your brilliant rationale for same. :joy:

It went well the first time around.

Internet tough guy approacheth. He went missing for obvious reasons after his last stuff up. I remain firmly convinced he is a bona fide RL fan. Much like Weiners.

I’m sorry that some people have better things to do than spend their days on a RL forum, how did you find time to write 1,200 posts in the past 15 months???

Why are you idiots still discussing Origin I??

Is it because you haven’t seen a crowd that good in your life??? Or just that bored by the quality of NRL at the moment???

2015 at the MCG was bigger and there is no NRL on at the moment.

Do you take pride in illustrating how much of a completely clueless moron you are?

Unless it pisses down rain, the combination of Farah's return, Mbye's debut and it being SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT LEICHHARDT means that 8k is not only unders, it's potentially half of what the crowd is likely to be.

Handicap factor: He's from Canberra you know! Time stands still there.

Haven't you read Disinterested third party & El Diablo's posts... there's been no games to talk about the crowds about, instead it's just time to using derogatory terms towards people in markets outside of Sydney.

Apparently the N in NRL is for NSW, not National according to them.

If you're going to be on here you'd best get used to it. Half the people in this forum spend most of their time typing personal insults about other posters rather than discussing and debating the topic. If you happen to live outside NSW you'll cop it even more.

I live in Melbourne and don't seem to cop it much.

Bit precious the people who are not from Sydney.
Can give it
Cannot take it

Not precious at all, some people resort to personal insults, just giving him the heads up not to expect much more than your avg 11year old playground responses from some on here.
