Anything less than a sellout for Slaters last game in Melbourne and a prelim at that would be disappointing. A near sellout in Melbourne might not be as big as other potential crowds but it would look amazing on TV.

Looking at the draw they will have to be the Friday prelim which means they will be up against the AFL again.

Edit:

Scratch that. Looks like AFL MCG prelim would be Saturday based on their draw but there is a chance both could be at MCG

ANZ prelims when st George played tigers got 73k that looked amazing

Can't agree. A packed Aami is about as good as it goods and the noise is tremendous.

Obviously though a 70K+ crowd is a spectacular sight but that's hardly a guarantee with a Souths prelim.

Ticket sales for tomorrow night look strong, selling in the upper tier.

I find both Cronulla and Roosters fans to be quite loud too, so as a neutral, if the crowd is over 30k it will be a spectacle.

35-40k will be intense.

I think you should have added the description "loud and attractive.":p
